Season 57 & Staff Updates
There have been some questions as to when the league will start coming across various mediums, so it's best to centralize that information here.
Once we have four stable squads which can reliably show eight on a Sunday (currently ~four players away at minimum), a start date of two Sundays out will be announced. This allows room for a few things: potential additional squad(s) to join, initiation weekend balance voting, maps selection, schedule format alignment, schedule generation, and...
For those who don't know me well, I'm a longtime Infantry player, though most of that time was spent in a different zone. More recently, I've found a lot of enjoyment playing and contributing to USL, and ultimately that's led me here in a capacity that I hope proves beneficial to our community of shared-interest gamers.
I believe strongly in servant leadership, both in gaming communities and in my professional life. My goal here isn't to come in and change things simply for the sake of...
Hello Community,
I would like to provide a new update to everyone regarding the head staff roles in their current forms and what transpired recently. Eric has decided to pursue other responsibilities and I respect his decision. Please help me thank Eric for his contributions to the league; past and/or present. I recently assumed the role once again of League Administrator of USL which I do thank Eric for his vote of confidence. However, in keeping the USL community best interest it would be...
Wanted to take a moment to try and maximize visibility for a cool new addition being rapidly developed for the community.

The site is collecting and displaying statistics from USL mixes, giving us a better look at what's actually happening in games beyond what we can see and laugh about from spec!
Right now, you can dig into things like player stats, game results, class usage &...
After reviewing participation and squad activity, the Unified Skirmish League will be entering a temporary hiatus due to the current lack of participating squads.
Rather than continue running seasons with insufficient participation, we feel it makes more sense to take a step back and use this time to improve the league structure while giving the community an opportunity to rebuild interest and participation.
During the hiatus, Axidus will be working on an MMR-based system similar to CTF's...
Friday 9/4/26 11pm is the cutoff for any squads to form / register for the upcoming season which starts 9/13/26. The current roster size is at 13 which will likely fluctuate after everyone has registered.
That being said this is the final week for testing any and all changes that were implemented in the off-season. Once captains have been established they or their squad's representative will vote to keep, revert or tweak said changes. I ask the community please continue to provide feedback...
Just a reminder that we plan on starting Season 57 on Sunday 9/13/26. With that being said squad registration deadline will be Friday 9/4/26. This will allow us time to discuss the season's map pool as well as season format. In the meantime, we will continue to look at some of the community suggestions for class settings.
Quick Recap:
-Armor Removed
-AT bumped to 100 HP
-Law's Tweaked to be more consistent with direct hit damage
-Line of Sight vision adjusted to try and fix vision...
First and foremost I appreciate all the time Fausto has put into the league and his continued support while remaining onboard as an advisor. Someone’s gotta be around for manifaustos.
With this move there will be another update. I’m pleased to announce that Angelus will be stepping in as deputy admin. He has been a consistent voice in the community even prior to being an advisor. I believe I can speak for the majority here in saying his perspective on the league and how we can improve...
Hello Community,
I just wanted to inform you all that I will be transitioning into an Advisor role for the upcoming USL Season. Eric, will be taking the place of League Administrator of USL. I have enjoyed my time as your USL League Admin, but I have other personal responsibilities that need my undivided attention. It has been an absolute pleasure assisting this League in any capacity and I hope you continue to support Eric and staff as you have done for me in season's past. The league will...
Effective tonight we will introduce a few changes, once again these are not permanent but are expecting feedback from those that run mixes frequently.
Disable Heavy Ripper(with armor being removed, tentatively. There is no point in having this and the passthrough as armor was its only identity)
Remove AT Armor
Increase AT HP to 100
Buff LAW( i will share the screenshot of exact changes but this can be found in the zone news as well )
Camping changes have also been implemented as a test...
Hello Community,
I just wanted to provide an update to the USL Community on the banning of Kevin in Season 56. There have been many comments from community members showcasing their respect and admiration for Kevin, not only as a player but as a community member. I appreciate everyone's comments and questions regarding a fellow player; they did not go unnoticed. In regard to his continued banning throughout the offseason and half of next season; it will be terminated effective immediately....
Hello Community,
We are looking to fulfill additional Referee positions, commentators, analysts, editors, video recorders, and hosts (potential USL LIVE Weekly cast) for our upcoming season. I hope you all can spare some additional time to help our league out and spread the responsibility around.
I thank each current staff member as they are not only the pillar, but backbone of our community; day in and day out.
If you have any questions on the roles and responsibility of a role in...
Hello Community,
We are one week into the offseason heading into season 57. I hope everyone is having a great time mixing and playing pub. As we continue to navigate the offseason I just wanted to provide some insight into a few questions you may have. The head staff discussed a few action items that would like to be discussed, implemented and tested throughout the course of the offseason. We will continue to utilize the roundtable to discuss ideas from captains and head staff alike; open...

Recent events have unfortunately raised suspicions regarding former staff with access to sensitive information. In light of this, and out of an overabundance of caution, all user account credentials have been reset.
As such, everyone will need to perform a password reset on their account. If you did not enter a valid email address when initially registering, or if you no longer have access to the email address on file, speak with an admin so that information can be updated in the database.
Following a review of recent events, the Unified Skirmish League administration has determined that Kevin engaged in the doxxing of another player, a serious violation of league rules and community standards.
The USL maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding the sharing, publication, or dissemination of personal information. Such actions undermine player safety, damage community trust, and are unacceptable in any capacity.
It should also be noted that, by vote and ratification of the...
