I was updating user profile pages to only show seasons where they actually played and removed the seasons where they did not play a game.

its updated now. anyone who didn't play a game in a season will have that row removed from their stat table. I'm also going to add a new sorting for people who play a lot of seasons just to reduce the clutter.

players on the lower tier squads receive a competition boost to keep them more in line with everyone else depending on the squads they play. otherwise they would be in the 50s or 60s.

But dn't we really not weigh ap? So mercy should be ahead of manu and fax because he's on a lower tiered squad with more hp

So a participation medal? what is this kindergarten? You should really ditch that shit, or add in some "competition boost" to the marine standings. Jizzron Phillips would take over the league.

there's a competition factor for marines too but you need still need to have above average stats in order to creep into the top 10 or top 5. it's not really a participation medal. old usl/sl ratings had competition factor in the ratings but I cannot find the exact formula so I'm just doing it off the top of my head. medic ratings are a bit more tricky and so far the ratings have looked accurate enough to me.

Was just curious with the standings, looked off statwise. Also how are squads ranked for tiers? Are the tiers determined at the start of the season? after every sunday they change? Wouldn't I have received more boost than fairfax/manu considering they were ahead of us all season till last Sunday?

Either way, I'm happy giving chica all the awards. She deserves it more than any of us.
