I'm sorry to hear about the death of your pet armadillo, Skeeter. I remember you telling us how you and ryde would use Skeeter as a soccer ball growing up because you were to poor to buy a real one. RIP Skeeter

If you actually had a pet armadillo that died then I'm sorry for your loss. Also how did you end up with a pet armadillo?

My mom lived in sante fe for a while, I was visiting a few octobers ago and there was this armadillo that would always chill in the back yard (by yard I mean mostly desert). Her dog would always chase it around and then he'd just roll into a ball when he was done playing. The dog and him became really good friends. My mom got pretty sick so I had to come down and take Milo (the dog) back home. Mom said that Skeeter would always still hang around the back yard looking mildly depressed that Milo wasn't there anymore. Milo was also kind of depressed that skeeter wasn't around to play with. Fast forward a year skeeter still in the backyard and mom began feeding him, I brought Milo down to visit and they fell in love again. Brought him back to ny and had a heated enclosure for my old chicken coupe that was now empty. Moved Skeeter into there in the winter and he came in and out of house in the summer. Unfortunately he passed away recently due to what we think was old age. Rip Skeeter.
