Apoc v21, mecca teams back up with Apollo and ernie to fight for the 2nd / 3rd seed.
Breakdown
Apollo brings back snakes for another season. This time they seem to be far more active than usual which is definitely a positive. The last time Apollo brought apoc/snakes in they were inactive and unable to truly push / break battles open against similar skilled teams(and this was with noskeeper paired with ernie). A match that comes to mind for a perfect example would be BBB vs Apoc 2 seasons ago where both teams stood there staring at each other even when BBB was up Apoc was unable or too afraid to make a move. Fast forward this this coming season you now only have 1 marine that can truly break a battle open in ernie, and maybe kevin if he can get a law snipe seeing as we know Mecca will hold onto his law for an ambush. The leadership from 2 seasons ago stays the same, and you add Fausto who is another leader that likes to slow things down and play passive even when behind I see the same reoccurring issues. I will say though with Stavudine active and the addition of Vince(if hes not trolling) gives these guys a solid med group with Mercy and Staley hanging in the background. Well.. maybe mercy Staley will be too busy watching hentai. The marines as I stated above stay relatively the same core in Apollo, mecca, ernie, mizz, kevin + an inactive Fausto with torch following mecca from last season. This will be his time to shine and prove mecca either wrong or right on whether or not he is the "next noskeeper" of USL. Also im happy to see juetnihilia on a team with vets that can help him progress, he has the aim to do well once he works on his positioning I could see him outperforming mizz / torch honestly. Projected line up Tactical Apollo Black Mizzouse Torch Stavudine(medic) VC/Mercy(medic) Kevin/Fausto Drunk DP as the benchwarmer. ;) Player to watch: Tactical; with ernie being active this season I expect to see him play at a higher level than 2 seasons ago when he was only logging on sunday nights. He is a marine that can carry this group to the finals if he returns to form. because of how active they've been and the chemistry they have with one another I am going to give them the edge over No Stones for the # 2 seed.
