Hey guys, just wanted to let you know KS10 is up in [I: Test] Zone 1 I'm thinking we should definitely use this map this season. It's different but has familiar elements from some of the other maps we've used. I would recommend trying to scrim/SB on it some. That way we can hopefully ask HS to tweak any serious balance issues it might have. I'll put up a poll soon to decide the other map(s).
Poll is up. Considering we have less than just 4 weeks, I figure we'll keep the poll to known quantities outside of KS10. Don't want to throw too many untested maps up just for the sake of change.
I unexpectedly had a couple questions regarding KR, so let me add it to the poll just in case.
I have heard the argument that KR has a 70/30 win/loss depending on side assuming equal squads, while the other maps are less skewed
Initial feedback for KS10 was it felt big. Anyone else have any other observations? Looks like the poll is wanting the same 3 maps as last season. Icstos not getting much love.
Make it green
gotta change that bright yellow, make it smaller horizontally ... for reference KR only goes to J and this one goes to M? maybe cut the east building from KR in half?
it feels big but its the same dimensions as EC so idk, I think if you shorten it anymore you run into the issues that Kaisers pass had where respawn comes in too quickly.
Move the spawns to the top of the map make people work to get / fight south
in the 2 mixes last night we went north once, only to go into the top part of the buildings lol

Exactly what I'm doing right now. Haven't setup the collective dropship in this screenshot, but the terrain for it is in the relative area it will go. https://i.postimg.cc/ncqsPVRH/KS10.jpg Also rounding off the edges of the map. Areas that wouldn't be normally ever used anyway.
can you shade the ground darker? A lot of people were complaining it was an eye-sore last nght

This, the southwest rocks were used quite a bit anyway. That should be left as-is.

Looks like we'll use the following barring any set backs. Apollo EC KR KS10 Depending on the number of squads, I'll figure out the rotation.
Hmmm If we only end up with 4 Squads might need to redo a map poll. With 4 Squads, that's a 6 Week Season, playing each squad twice. Perfect for a 3 Map rotation. Each squad gets a home/away on each map. So I might re-poll to see which map is least desired out of KR/EC/Apollo, because I'd still like to see how KS10 works out
