@Emp, the idea is bad.. correct, how is it not feasible if a majority wanted it? How many threads he makes is irrelevant. Put up the fuckin polls and stay neutral, let ideas be heard even if you think they bad.

@ Apollo I think you are under the impression that USL is a democracy. It never has been. The Admins don't do the bidding of the people on the forums. They (hopefully) try and do what is right for the league based on their own time and energy. A good admin will be in touch with the player base, but it's naive to think this is run by a voting system. And don't get me started on surveys.

I've always thought polling all season is a good idea. It has already been proven that come off season people do not discuss the changes they want until it's too late. With as short as this season is, we should all be discussing the biggest issue, which is the maps. I've already heard from several people that KS10 needs edits and I feel it's necessary get a list together of possible alterations before this season ends. If HellSpawn is going to offer his time to make shit then we need to make the best use of our time to help him. This way he isn't sitting around waiting for ideas and we have adequate time to test in the offseason.

A majority vote doesn't make an idea feasible, just ends up never being passed as legitimate. There is a hierarchy in any voting system for a reason.

@Fairfax When did I say it would be ran by polls? I’m pretty sure I said it would open a discussion. It sure as fuck shouldn’t be run like a dictatorship or we’ll have a palm situation again. A poll is used to get a feel for what the majority want and to encourage a conversation. A good admin will listen to all ideas and get a feel for how many people are behind said ideas even if he disagrees with them or thinks they are dumb.

@Emp Are you using extremes to make your point to come out right or something? Firstyour dumb extreme example is feasible. Second I would rather poll that, a league based idea instead of what feud is better. Third if that was the only thing to poll, out of the several other ideas the community has brought up in the past. I would invite everyone who voted for it to bring in an open forum as to why we should implement it in.
