hm, more like copy n paste. bunch of nerds
Allowing Tyrant to leave WH and join SA before a match where SA didn't have 8 wasn't a bad idea imo, particularly after SA's recent rough patch. We've seen that Armor values strengthening weaker squads, whether that's by lifting a life-time ban or allowing someone to circumvent the roster lock. Balancing the scales of squads is something that we should be encouraging.
EXACTLY ^
I'm sure Armor will not be allowing Tyrant to join another squad.
Armor has only done things to help the league, all this nonsense attacking him is just cry babies not getting their way.
I really like your videos, Darth, and I hope you find the will to continue producing them.
That said, I have to ask. Can you think of the last USL Admin that you did NOT get into a fight with and threaten to quit, remove your squad from the league, or otherwise withdraw some contribution you had made?
Darth is anti-authority, he's a rebel and THE ONE UNCONTAINED.
aka Crybaby Viking
Every one knows an admin doesnt go until I set the wheels in motion
I like Armor... for now
lets just take off roster lock so armor doesn't have to make any more difficult decisions and he can go back to reading pm's while hiding in the void
Well, wasn't the time for roster lock voted on by the community? If so, we only have ourselves to thank for that gem...
it only "won" a 34% vote, and you know how minority governments work?
much like this right now.
next poll have people have 2 votes so they vote for their top 2 choices or something, sort of like how the US ELECTORAL COLLEGE works
jet fuel cant melt steel beams
Monkey crap stew
Bush flew the drone into the towers himself
LOL
Add the votes together and you'll find a large majority voted for a roster lock on or prior to week 4.
That said, the roster lock is primarily to avoid mass squad leaves in hopes to jump to a playoff squad. There has been an improvement in parity between squads from last season to this season, and that's driven primarily by the players.
Also, important to note that Tyrant joining SA was his idea. I approved it because it's good for the league. Most positive action comes from the actions of players.
Nice math armor
1/2 through the season (after week 4)
(33%, 23 Votes)
1/3 of the way through the season (before week 3 match)
(34%, 24 Votes)
Before week 1 (this sunday)
(6%, 4 Votes)
There shouldn't be a roster lock
(4%, 3 Votes)
Week before playoffs
(20%, 14 Votes)
A large majority wanted roster lock 1/2 through the season or later. There are 28 votes for 1/3 of the way through the season or earlier as opposed to 40 votes for 1/2 way through the season or later or not at all. Even if you remove those 3 votes suggesting to have no roster lock there still isn't a majority like Armor is saying. Are we going to apply the same logic for how many playoff squads get in?
STILL DONT KNOW HOW MANY PLAYOFF SQUADS
Sorry, I thought I clarified well enough, but I'll be more specific (and thank you for posting the results for me).
-Only 34% (a majority) voted for a week 3 roster lock
-Captain vote was split evenly across Week 3 and Week 4 roster lock
-Staff vote heavily favored Week 3 (60% vs. 33% voting for week 4)
That's the logic behind choosing the week 3 lock initially. When I said add the votes together and you'll see a majority voted for a lock on or prior to week 4. My "nice math" still does hold true.
-6% voted for Week 1 roster lock
-34% voted for Week 3 roster lock
-33% voted for Week 4 roster lock
Grand Total: 73% (what I'm referring to as a "large majority")
I agree it would be a good idea to reveal the playoff format this week with three squads tied at 2-2. Any predictions, Darth? :)
Prove I use spec info -Kippa season 1
