Thought I might as well do my fucking job and write some sort of prediction for the projected rest of the season. With only a few games left in the regular season, squads are gearing up for a final stretch with some seed-defining matches. My Predicted Seedings: 1. Cobra Kai: 7 wins - 0 losses 2. Instant Vintage: 6 wins - 1 loss 3. Warhawks: 5 wins - 2 losses 4. Angry Frogs: 3 wins � 4 losses 5. Tank: 3 wins � 4 losses 6. Worms: 3 wins � 4 losses 7. Legends: 1 win - 6 losses 8. Statutory Apes: 0 wins - 7 losses Important Matches: Cobra Kai vs. Instant Vintage � This showdown is reserved for the last week of the season. Opinions are pretty split as to which team is better, but this match should settle those arguments. For me, IV is the better team on paper simply for their depth in marine power and the combined experience. CK has the advantage in the medic department, boasting Kippa the scottish warrior as leader/medic and Sov who seems to be playing more med than marine this season once again. Projected Lineups (given everyone shows) IV: DeviL Storm G Prisoner Trisance em4awon manu Havok CK: Champion Colossal Mecca Prime The Great Khali y e England It's gonna be a close match, but I think kippa's patience will do CK justice and will force IV to play his game. IV needs to play their aggressive game and really bring it to CK this match. With marines like Ninj, Herc, and Khaos they are definitely capable of breaking down CK's defense. CK can be aggressive as well with players like Colossal and e, but also have the ability to be a bit more passive with Mecca and Champion. Kippa has all the right tools to turn the game in whatever manner he wants, but it's up to Khaos to try and control the tempo. This is a match for the first seed in playoffs, and the potential for an undefeated season, so I'm expecting both squads to take this match seriously and go head to head. Final Pred: CK 32-28 IV Warhawks v. Angry Frogs: Out of all the matches left, the result of this one could be the most consequential. A win for Angry Frogs could mean a 4th place battle for Warhawks, and a win for WH will throw AF right back into the battle for a playoff spot. AF has been pretty impressive these last 2 weeks, and pretty damn unlucky. Darth showing us glimpses of old SE and how good of a leader he is. Projected Lineups WH: Apollo tg Leak Legacy Lana Del Rey Warhawk Fairfax Tactical AF: Chaos Blade ER Pandy Win Nowitzki victim Deviak Draco/Tornado AF's lineup does not look like the mid table squad they were projected to be. They really proved in recent fixtures that they can compete and go toe to toe with the best. CB has always been underrated in my opinion and can pull off some serious battle openers. ER is always an asset, Pandy needs to step up and play to the level everyone knows he can, and Deviak needs to have a mistake-free game which is pretty rare considering how bat shit aggressive he plays. WH had a rough start after Mecca abandoned this toxic/emo ship. Things are back on track now with Legacy showing glimpses of the monster player he used to be and shaking off some serious rust. Tactical is getting his game back after sulking for 2 months over his #1 friend jordan, and players like tg/death43.2 are really starting to hit a groove now, more vocal and pulling off some clutch battle winners. I've been leading the majority of scrims (when we used to sb...) including vs. Tank, but Apollo is still our #1. I think AF will frustrate the shit out of us and keep it close for the first 20 minutes, but I feel in the end WH is the better squad, both in the marine and medic departments. Final Pred: WH 38-29 AF Given that, I'm going to give a quick skim of what I think the rest of the playoffs will look like, including BOTR. I think our matchup for the semi-finals will be: CK v. AF and WH v. IV CK vs. AF will be a great rematch given how fucking close the first one was. With more on the line, I think CK will be a bit more fired up and will have to win the first battle if they don't want to get frustrated. Take the first battle and you control the tempo. CK will come out on top and move on to the finals. WH v. IV will be a nice rematch as well (esp cus I get to play in this one) and I think with our recent form, it'll be a lot closer than the original match. If I'm being biased I think that we are more than capable of pulling out a win if we play it smart, but from an objective pov ive gotta give it to IV. So for the sake of not sounding like a tit, IV will take the win here. CK v. IV final... we'll just have to see what happens. BOTR Tank v. SA and Worms v. Legends Tank will need to play aggressive and really enforce themselves on SA. I havent been impressed (DAVE) by what Ive seen this season but they need to pull it together and muscle out what should be an easy win. Tank wins. Worms v. Legends This might actually be closer than people will expect. Worms have not been playing to the level they should be given the big names (albeit rusty names) they have on their roster. Legends did some tasty mid season recruiting and suddenly became less of a stat pad team and more of a team that could pull off upsets. I think in the end the experience that worms has over Legends will shine through and they'll come out on top in the last 10 minutes of the match. Worms win. Tank v. Worms Final: This will actually be a pretty good match all things considered. Tank won the first match against worms, 41-29, but with current momentum i'd give worms the edge here. Tank have dipped in form and worms have remained basically the same, with maybe slight improvements here and there. Splittah and SM could really make or break this squad, if they step up and hit the form that they used to play with, this match could be over quick. Tank is very patient and that might benefit them here if worms get aggressive, but I think Tank will have to channel their more aggressive side if they wanna take it. Ext1 and dave are the keys for Tank imo, if theyre vocal and on their game this could be very close. I'll give the win to worms here until further notice.

If I was passive then CK would be in trouble. If being passive means I break open every battle, play in front of everyone else to get kills and get most kills every season then sure.. I'm "passive".

I don't understand why that statement is so hard to digest. Colossal and e are more two of the most aggressive players in the game, their natural inclination is to push the nme no matter the situation. I just think you're a more patient player who will wait to strike.

From what I have seen, champ is a smart aggressive player. When he knows it's an even battle or a pinch, his first inclination is to call the push and do it aggressively. If it's a bait, he won't commit fully. Easoe/Colossal are more of the tunnel vision aggressive players. I guess you're right in what you are saying, but I don't think it's fair to call someone passive when they're playing cautious with the vision they got.

I don't think I ever called him a passive player. The point I was trying to make is that if kippa (who I assume will be leading) wants to flip the script and play it passive, mecca/champ are 2 players that would be well suited to hold and slow down the tempo of the match because they aren't as tunnel vision-y as colossal/e who thrive more during a push.
