With a limited time left before the season starts, the last thing I'd want to do is request a weapon adjustment to the uproar of the masses. However, since it seems we will only have around 50ish players, I wanted to get feedback: Weapon Request: SL Incinerator settings transferred over, or Shotgun to replace the current Incinerator. It isn't that LMG is in a terrible spot, however having a secondary weapon that is pretty useless sucks. Would anyone be seriously upset for this change, or would you be more welcoming? What are the noticeable differences between SL incin and the current incin in USL?
Blast radius is reduced in USL, and I believe damage is reduced as well (can't login atm to go check right now). In SL as long as you landed half a clip within 1ft you have a kill. Since it is like working a hose, it isn't the easiest thing to land all shots. Right now, you need to land inner shots for like 80% of the clip.
radius is reduced, damage seems like it might be, pretty sure USL is slower too
I think that's a small enough change to just throw in before the season starts tbh but it's not my call. I don't think LMG should get SG though because that just makes it too similar to Marine.
I feel the same way, and wanted to maybe position a new weapon for LMG instead if we couldn't figure out an incin response. Shotgun swapping was just a lazy approach to at least have something viable, because current incin is not it. 35 damage Powerfist. Boom. King, current leading nominee for Deputy Admin
I feel like the SL incin is significantly stronger. I'm hesitant to give LMG another buff days before matches start.

The second I hit a reload on it I am fucked up close that incin is complete garbage
I feel like with the previous buff to damage and now the reversion back to 50 round clips it's in a good place. But if ya'll are fine with a buff right before matches start.
I think it's more minor than you think, sg still destroys it up close. But at least gives lmg a chance

100% something more major would be the reload time or the super super long reload time from using any offensive action during the reload time.
For some reason I feel like SL incin does significantly more outer or splash damage. Tree laming and flaming was my bread n butter in SL because of how strong the incin is. But maybe I'm remembering poorly.
It is a 5ft range weapon that deters marines from getting in their face with an SG. 24hr Poll it and lets go. King 4 Deputy Admin
What other USL classes can use incin? Is it just LMG? Or does like Sapper use it too?
LMG and Sapper are the only ones with incin right now.

Obviously Sapper isn't going to be OP from it.
You also have to consider that LMG does have incin nade + 50 round clip. Would incin push it over the edge? I'm not sure tbh.
I still don't think so, can't ambush easily in usl and sg still beats it. Sapper is a non factor
