All the ridges have been brightened to make it much easier to see openings on radar.
Collective Base has been much harder to base rape.
Southern part of the map remains unchanged since it was balanced beforehand.
Western side of map gets shrunken.
Northern / Middle area of map gets reworked to be more playable.

I like your ridge changes but everything else is horrible.
Everyone complains about how low the scores are because of the maps but you somehow make changes to slow the tempo more lmao. Look at past USL games/playoffs/champs on apollo and identify where the stalemates are and how you can make it more rewarding to be proactive.

I wouldn't mind testing this map out. The changes definitely help with the stalemates in this map.
Honestly, unless every squad SB's on it a couple times I think it's too late to test a new map. I have no problem putting it up for testing in a separate test zone if people want to try it during or after this season.
These changes are similar to when EC was changed where it didn't exactly change the whole dynamic of the map but added additional openings to places that created stalemates. If anything, the support classes are something that were recently added in and change the dynamic more so than these proposed apollo changes.
Class changes are a long time coming and I think they should take the focus right now.
If they're small enough then whatever, I don't mind putting it up to try. But we all know how this community is and if they have to take 30 minutes to try something different it's the end of the world.
