Blizzard saying that low pop realms today are equal to full realms in 2006. "Each of the Full realms has a LOT of characters to the extent that it may be more than can fit into the queue system. As a result, you may not be able to get into the queue when you want to play and even if you do, it will likely be a very long wait." There is now a queue, for the queue. For anyone who still hasn't decided on a realm there is a good chunk of us going to the Skeram server. It's an east coast PvP server.

Can you randomly kill peeps in pvp or do they have to accept a challenge or something.

Will the answer determine if you are going to come play with us?

You can kill opposing faction players in the open world aka world PvP. There are also battlegrounds that you queue up for where you join an instance that lets you face off against the other faction. Capture the flag, resource control, and zone control.

To clarify - you have Faction-controlled zones and Contested zones. Contested your pvp flag is on 100% of the time, while in Faction-controlled members of the owning faction can stay unflagged while opposing faction will always be flagged.

Will everyone on WOW classic have to start a new character?

Yes everyone starts from scratch.

You can activate your subscription right now and make 3 characters, total prior to launch and reserve names. There are different servers that you can play on. Its best to play on a server where other people you know will be playing, otherwise you cannot play with other friends on different servers.
