Hola Fam, I threw out an idea of putting together a one weekend USL reunion tournament on Discord. Thoughts: - Would be fun to try and get a lot of folks back on and try to relive the glory days. Even those who have not played in years. It’s only a one weekend commitment. Almost like a USL “reunion”. - This would involve the most fun aspect of the game which is squad battles and league play. - A round robin tournament over two days in which every squad gets to play. - Revisiting that if we ping all our old buddies to come back for a 2 day USL tournament vs a multiple month tournament, you may get more interest. - We could even try to raise the famous old squads like Death Company, Bad Company, Allied Forces, Semper Fi and many more (I stopped playing after 2005 when I joined the Marines) and pull those members back in to relive the fun. - I imagine to get good showing we would need to plan this out in advance and keep it to maybe twice a year. - We would also need Admin, League, and Squad Leader support. This is just an idea but really feel it would be a lot of fun and a good way to bring that old feeling back, if even just for 2 days. USL matches aside, even just catching up with the old members would be nice. Thoughts?
