This is the Infantry I remember. Leagues have always been like NCAAF. Couple top teams but the rest are there for lobsided Ls. Draft leagues would be ideal but infantry players have always been the whiniest/most toxic so it would never work.

Then start liking more people. I've always been in favor of drafts; the little 4-6 week SL draft leagues were always balanced and had very little complaint. Even in PL we did some draft play during off-seasons that turned out quite fun.

The community certainly was never able to balance itself out, especially in the later seasons. Everyone here is an adult now and I'm not necessarily friends with everyone on my squad, but I still have it in me to be civil and respectful to everyone I'm playing with. Draft is most definitely the best way to balance teams and most likely you'll still be playing with people you get along with, mixed in with others. Another idea that was proposed along time ago was changing maps to smaller maps (like the old pink vs purple) and making it a 3v3/4v4 league while cutting roster sizes in half, encouraging more teams.

False. You were definitely knocked out more than 3 times. The last SL draft I was a part of was on Eric's team, and we won the champs. If there was another after I wasn't aware. Not saying draft is the end-all-be-all option, but like Apollo said we are all adults. Can add back in eval ratings to allow for even-value trades etc. Will you like everyone on a personal or gameplay level? Probably not, but it would definitely quash some elements a majority of the league dislikes.

im sure we appreciate the input but you don't see anyone from hellcats complaining about an unbalanced league so what are we trying to fix? with torch and splittah added to IHS that makes them significantly more competitive, so 3 out of 4 squads are competitive? what are we even solving for?
