I would be down for an SL tourney or a season (5 squads with 1 game played against each squad).

Nos is not the best player. Last time he played for a non stacked squad he went 1-6.

Also Goblin- is better than 90% of the players. Just so happens I am part of the 10% that can stop him.

There is no new talent coming to the game.. lol is USL the only league that has semi survived or have any other leagues had seasons on FI

CTFPL had 1 season and a OVD league, but that was ages ago

I think the only reason USL is active because it was the last league to survive right up to the end of SOE. And when people migrated over to FI it was the first league people thought about. And then from there it just stayed active. Tried to do SL mini seasons with drafts but it never really stuck.

Maybe we try the smaller roster format with SL instead of a draft again? Do a 2-3 week mini-season in the USL off-season with squads of 8-10. 6v6? Just thinking since the majority seems to want to play with their peeps.

Smaller format SL would be fun.

Pretty sure we have proven time and time again that with the remaining players that we have, SL is not the way, knockout format too hard for current population and people lose interest fast. Unless its like 3v3 or 5v5 mid battles yuh yuhhhhhh but hey, maybe 10 times the charm

Mid-battle league/event could get interesting. Could choose like 3 designated sections of whichever map and do best of 7-10? 4v4-6v6? Just trying to add some spice since people want more and drafts don’t work effectively enough.

USL just caters to noobs.. it’s simple.. SL with the 3 lives and flags etc the noobs get lost

Also stats, I think a lot of peeps care about stats and accolades (YES ME), problem with those special events is that it is unofficial and there are no stats or awards to show for it.

WHO SAID STATS WOULDNT COUNT? Bold of you to assume. :> But fr tho, we could add stats as like a separate counter/tracker that doesn’t integrate into the USL stats. I’m talking about this being more than just an event and more being a mini-season where we add some variety that’s not just USL and the same maps. (yes, I know a bunch of cool chaps are working on some zones right now - thank you for spending time on that) Especially since people are so concerned about them nowadays.
