Season 27 @ v2
Preview by: tg (Season 53)
Rate Analysis:
V2 gets an even harder matchup in Week 2 vs S27.
Breakdown
V2 0-1 Projected Lineup: Smackrock 3*: Marine MTR3 2.5*: Nader Ghost 2.5*: Marine/Ranger Gamble 3*: LMG/Marine Cara Tank 2*: Marine Cannibal 2*: AT/Marine Kal 2*: Medic ThatDude 1.5*: Medic Average TG Star Rating: 2.31* V2 comes into Week 2, 0-1, after dropping to Birds last week. V2 did what they could to keep the match much closer than people thought it would be. Gamble was a huge pickup for them and really showed out playing well going 6-6. Smackrock's leading was very good but V2 just had too many unfortunate deaths in many battles. Recrossing base lines after being told many times it's being automated this season was completely insane to see 4 or 5 times in that match. MTR3 plays a decent nader but that class is mostly useless against the top squads in the league. While kal went 0-10 as medic he did have most healing points in the match and I expect him to improve every week and be a very good medic by season's end. Season 27 1-0 Projected Lineup: Sov 6*: AT/Marine P 3.5*: Marine Machu 5*: LMG/Marine K 3*: Marine G 4*: Marine Champion 6*: Marine/Demo Simp 4.5*: Medic I 6*: Medic Average TG Star Rating: 4.75* S27 looked to be in mid season form already utterly dismantling WA last week, winning by 65. Sov won almost every 1v1 he had against the opposing AT and really opened up many battles with the angles he was getting. Machu dropped a 20 bomb by cleaning up many kills on lmg and Splittah had his coming out party under Sov tutelage with a 16-1 and verbal ownage of WA. Prediction: S27 won coin toss and has side selection, again I think left side is better on this map. V2 is going to have to slow the pace way down to try to keep it competitive against the #1 squad this season in S27. Smackrock and company are going to have to find many corners and spots to hide behind to try to pick off one of S27's players or teams to start the battle. Unfortunately it's not going to matter. Sov on AT is absolutely going to crush in this match with the vision and streams he'll provide. Machu and Splittah are going to farm big numbers in this one and should be hot pick ups for fantasy this week. Real tough start for V2 to start the season. V2: 16 Season 27: 99 MVP: Splittah
