Well here is my USL Season 4 Pre-Season Rankings & Ratings. This surely looks to be the best season yet in free infantry. With Checkmate disbanding before the season the taken completely spread across the top 5 squads. Will make for a great playoff race and a championship match thats for sure. So lets get started. This is how I rate how squads have been playing in off-season how the regular season goes and what I think they will finish is a different story. Don�t shoot the messenger. Fausto donate the money to the site, that is all Thanks. Bronzie Bears - I was waiting for all the shuffling to be completed before the off season ends in order to to get the most accurate rankings. I had snakes #1 most of the off season but I just can�t put them over BB at this time because of leadership. I believe thats the one advantage they currently have over snakes. Projected Lineup Ma- em4awon (9.0) - em4 is a beast and a team player does whatever the squad needs him to do he will play a major part in BB�s success. Ma- Ninja (9.7) - 2nd Best marine in the league his ability to beat anyone in a 1v1 is extreme will kippa be able to control him though, likes to do his own thing. Ma- ER (9.0) - Raver is so talented could be in top 5 marines if it wasn�t for his dumb deaths every once in a while. Ma- Shasta (9.0) - Just doesn�t give away dumb deaths! Exactly what you need when you have other aggressive marines. Ma- yosh (8.5) - After sitting a lot last season on IV this should be Josh�s coming out party. Very reliable support. Ma- noskeeper (8.5) - Deadly Aim, but has he gotten position down? If kippa can keep him in check position wise could end up in top 10 in kills this season. Me- kippa (9.5) - The medic with 95 hp that slight lag armor comes in handy with his aggressive play. Very smart leader studies opposition and wants to force you to make a mistake. Me- manu (9.0) - Great medic, a little too talkative on vent/mumble at times which can be a distraction but will get the heals going all game. BN- Prisoner (8.8) - Would be starting but he probably won�t be too active this season =( BN- Albert (8.2) - Albert will more than likely be too focused on running PL to make many games this season. BN- Z (8.4) - If he gets in the game he will kill a lot and die a lot =) Snakes - Like I previously mentioned this squad was #1 to me most of the season however they have since lost their best marine to friends in champion. They still have one of the best marine lineups in the game and arguably the best medic due in the league if it was not for BB. Leadership will be huge for them WH/Snakes have a tendency to try and let the game come to them. I am 100% sure if they play that way they will not be in the champ they need to utilize their talent and press but we will have to wait and see. Projected Lineup Ma- Tactical (9.3) - Gato is pretty awesome marine, will be looking to have a much better season than he had last time out. Struggled early in the season will need a strong start for snakes to compete for #1 seed. Ma- Mecca (8.9) - King Snake always has a law left, remember this it could save your life. Ma- Legacy (9.1) - Legacy is starting to regain his SOE form. Expect him to take another big step this season will probably lead squad in kills. Ma- Leak (8.8) - Leak is a great 1v1 player If he can get position down I would rate him a little higher as well. Ma- tg (9.0) - tg I think is the person that has gotten the most improvement since SOE I expect a very good season from his just as his last Ma- Liquid (8.5) - Apollo will more than likely lead, I hope he can use the talent around him adequately and take the fight to squads not let it come to him this could be the diff in winning a title or not. Me- Fairfax (9.2) - 3rd Best med in the league if it wasn�t for Sov and then kipp�s slight lag fax would be the best med around. Me- Lana Del Rey (9.0) - Don�t remember him from SOE but has impressed me since I came back. Very good med stays alive and has some good PDW BN- OMC (8.7) - OMC just doesn�t make mistakes he won�t cost you the game the perfect balancing marine. BN- Stavudine (8.7) - Hope he gets some game it would be a shame to see this talent ride the pine. BN-dp (8.0) - Gato #2 is trying to become a snake. Friends - Friends made the biggest splash of the season picking up two top 5 players in the last days of the off season in Champion and Sov. The pick up of these two and with having dave leading and ext also being able to call shots when he dies automatically turned this guys into contenders and a threat. Kudos to champ and sov for picking friends will make for the best playoff race to date. Projected Lineup Ma- Champion (9.8) - How will he do on a middle calibre squad and will he be loyal to stay and play all season? Best marine in the league, is just so consistent there are other marines with his talent but he gets it done every game. Except that one SFO game in playoffs, who remembers? =p Ma- ExTrEmE(1) (8.9) - Fausto is a solid marine who can also lead you just can�t go wrong he will carry the burden with Champ. Ma- dave (8.7) - I like dave. I however think I voted I don�t like dave on poll. One of the better leaders around. Ma- Killer (8.6) - Suicide Marine. Killer will simply win you more games than he loses for you, only concern is focus in playoff time when kills are slim pickings. Ma- Unb (8.4) - Underrated marine with bad bad positioning yet so much talent. Dave you can turn him into an all-star or most hated. Ma- Warhawk (8.3) - With sum not having to lead and eager to see what he will do this season. Me- Sov (9.7) - Sov is the best medic in the league hands down, he�s accustomed to doing so much in PL that he can heal and fight better than any other med. If theres a 3v3 and he�s on flank its like having 3 marines with a medikit. His play will determine how far they go in playoffs. Me- Kiediss (8.8) - Very good medic. Quiet never really hear anything from him. BN- Jane (8.2) - Jane is a vet who I think is better than most people give her credit for. BN- Cage (8.1) - Rookie of the Year I think. BN- Universal Soldier 2k (8.1) - Uni will come in and get kills for you I also think he can one clip people if friends make it to championship duels. Worms - Worms also greatly benefitted from checkmate fading picking up two awesome marines in Devil and Trisance. They now have what could be considered the best marine lineup in the league if a couple of them can shake off the cobwebbs and start killing people. I expect big upsets from this squad, one question though who will be leading? Projected Lineup Ma- Devil (9.4) - Top 5 Marine, who also does dirt work that should mean he gets rated higher but he betrayed the KKK therefor top 5 is all he gets. Ma- Trisance (9.2) - Tris the silent assassin will once again be inactive yet as good as most marines when match times come. LMG- Jekyll (8.7) - Has made the biggest jump on this squad has impressed me with regaining form. Ma- splittah (8.5) - Splitt is still faded will have to do some 2v2s to get some of that aim back right now he seems slightly above average. I think as the season rolls he will start cooking. Ma- SM (8.4) - Same as with split still faded but has his moments of brilliance hopefully he shakes off rust as season goes. Ma- Bmei (9.1) - The heart and soul of the squad. Very good Aggressive marine will lead squad in Kills. Me- Kaga (9.0) - Great med, will he show to games this season? I hope so Worms playoffs life may depend on it. Me- Slob (8.6) - Solid medic but have not seen him on much as of late. BN- r (8.1) - Good support marine/Medic with shortage of meds will probably have to med. BN- mc (8.2) - Support Leader Im still wondering who will lead for them I just put best lineup in but maybe haup will be in to lead. BN- OlaCola (8.2) - OlaCola is the person that hates Trisance and Devil the most lol. BN- England (8.6) - Tee kills people. When he�s active. FiN@L~F@Te - FF is sitting at #5 in my rankings but this is pre-season, there are always many surprises as the season goes along. I do not expect FF to be on the outside looking in when the playoffs come around I expect the complete opposite. Chemistry is the only thing preventing me from ranking them much higher to start the season and only time will tell. Really solid marine lineup that can compete with most and some experiments at med that we will have to wait and see how it turns out. Projected Lineup Ma- Tyrant (9.1) - Used to be one of the best marines in USL, will he regain his championship form? Has looked good with bad internet in off-season. Ma- e (9.5) - Easoe is top 3 marine in the league. FF has been playing real aggressive but with season approaching I see e is learning how he will have to play with FF to be successful. Will more than likely lead team in Kills. Ma- Colossal (9.2) - Jeff Kills people. Like the SFO players on squad is slowly adjusting but it is starting to pay off. Expect a big season from Colossal. Ma- God (9.1) - Leadership Kills. Ma- Sol (9.5) - This map is made for Sol to stunt on squads. He close aim is the best in the game and with very few long range battles when he shows he will absolutely destroy. Ma- Y (9.0) - Most Improved Player. Getting so much better and while being aggressive turning to one of my players to watch for this season. Me- Uzo (8.6) - Experiment by Khaos. Uzo will be meddling all season for FF has made some dumb decisions but he knows how to stay alive see dodging skills. Expect as the season goes on this experiment will pay off and he will surprise many people. Ask worms he ranked against them as Med last night. Me- Gambler (8.3) - Pub Legend Turned USL pro. Gambler is getting better and better every sb. I think he will have a great season. BN- Pliskin (8.3) - Mr swiss knife, will be meddling or marine for FF this season as required. BN- Keyser (8.2) - Keyser is a ctfr with huge upside. I plan on working with him whenever I have time. With a season under his belt on a good squad I believe he will be a much different and highly recruited player next season. BN- Drake (8.5) - Consistency is key not the best marine but above average understands all aspects of the game at this point. Access Denied - AD will problaby end up with the #6 seed as the season progresses I think they will get better than CB. I think they are more active and have better upside all the way around. AD seems to be self destructive at time losing battles they should not lose they do have the talent to cause and upset or two if they can stay focused and organized for a full 30 minutes. Projected Lineup Ma- Chaos Blade ( 8.6)- CB should have someone else lead, I would recommend mizz. He�s the best marine on this squad but loses focus too easily. Ma- c0mbo (8.3) - combo is just coming back and like most players I think its going to take him a season to really get going again. Ma- Dark Knight (8.3) - Very aggressive but that will hurt him on a squad like AD. Will get a lot of kills though. Ma- Brillhart (8.2) - Good Law snipes good support. Ma- Havok (8.9) - Best player on the squad higher rated med, but this squad will need him as Rine. Having BFN marine and havok medic will be a mistake. Ma- Mizzouse (8.4) - Mizz has been getting better as time goes, wait isn�t that whats supposed to happen? Good Shrap Aim on Laws. Me- Big Fat Noob (8.7) - If BFN plays every game he could end up being ROY, I hope he gets to med as his close range aim is deadly and uses medikit like repulsors. Me- victim (8.5) - Solid med, did well on AF last season. BN- Metal (8.2) - Hope to see him active and get some game time has good upside and very good close range aim. BN- Chica (8.1) - Emergency Med. BN- s.f (8.1) - Emergency Med. Carebears - The last minute squad will not end up in last this season thats for sure. This is a good mix of old vets and new people but enough talent and leadership to make sure that they do not end up in last. I had a tough time deciding between CB and AD for #6 and I think it could go either way. We will just have to wait and see who actually shows and plays for CB during the season. Projected Lineup Ma- Distrikt (8.5) - Distrikt is the best marine this squad has aside from armor but will he be put in the right positions or will he be allowed to roam? Ma- Ice (8.4) - Ice is good 1v1 still have yet to see him really shine in team play could this be the season? Ma- Tornado (8.2) - Haven�t seen too much of him this off season but in pub he has been killing peeps. Ma- Shadai (7.8) - Will he show, and if he does how bad will he be? At least he can lead right. Ma- King (8.4) - Wish he would focus on marine and play it as serious as he used to rip in SL. Could be really good. I remember when we played on BDS in usl he got a lot of kills idk what happened.! Ma- Zebe (8.3) - will have to marine good support marine. Me- Templar (8.5) - Underrated med, I think he�s pretty good. Me- envy (8.2) - navy is a decent med he will get to play a lot so i think he will get better as season goes on. BN- Armor (9.0) - how many games will he play, 1-2-3-4? How many games will they win, 1-2-3-4? BN- C (8.1) - haven�t seen him on and season 2 on kr he was faded come back nate. BN- Sara (8.1) - Sara has good heals but lag issues and positioning is downfall. New Money - New Money is definitely new but will they get any money as the season goes along is the question. Most squads will be looking to stat pad against this squad as the rest of the league is really above this squad in terms of talent. I hope they can get it together I don�t know much about these guys but I do know some players and have tried to take a look at who has potential. Projected Lineup Ma- solid snake22 (8.1) - The vet. Best marine on squad. Ma- Grubby (7.7) - Prospect, he will get game time he will need to shine to get on a much better squad next season. Ma- Bias (8.1) - good aim and good lag he will kill people. Ma- hairynutz (7.7) - is he going to play nader? Ma- nfvi (7.5) - no nfvi will be the nader! Ma- Babble (7.3) - have seen babble in ctf more than sk, that can�t be a good thing when you�re trying to get better. Me- Vince Carter (8.7) - I commend you. Me- negativezero (7.8) - neg got a ring last season this season hell get a black eye be prepared for a long season. BN- Rangersmith (7.5) -idk but pub legends have been translating well. BN- Sinn Fein (7.5) - lags flag captures in PL he will lag law you to death. put him in the game coach. BN- Jokers are wild (7.2) - decent med/decent marine.
