I'm asking that all squads intending to play in USL FI S5 have their squads ready to go by the end of 10/31/2015 so that I can draft a schedule on 11/01/2015 (and captains can schedule accordingly). We'll be looking to start on 11/08/2015. If your squad doesn't look ready to go by the 1st of November, I will not include you in the schedule. As always, we're also looking for active referees thus if you're available and interested, please let me know.

Map is KR per the poll. I see a roster cap hurting more than helping, currently, but people are welcome to suggest otherwise if they feel it's needed.
With 6 cap should be 16, that'd give us 96
16 is probably too high. 14-15 is still good with current pop. And even then that's too high. You'd still holding people on your roster that more than likely won't play that could play somewhere else.
My personal thought process right now is that I don't think the players who are surplus on a roster are going to leave and start a new squad so roster limits are more so just saying some people can't play then anything else. Obviously that's not set in stone and just an opinion at the moment, but shrug. If the community prefers a roster limit as to try and force out another squad, by all means, please say so and we can add one in.
At the moment there are definitely enough people for a 7th squad. But do we want 7 squads? Makes the schedule tough because we'd probably have to do bye weeks. But I'd still like to make sure everyone gets to play.

Cap at 16 would allow 18 more players to join a squad, and there's about 20 people on the free agent that plan on playing this season, I don't think we can afford to cut 6 people out. At this point 6 people is a good chunk of our population.

I would be for a 16 squad roster, it might genuinely help some squads, but I'm guessing some squads would take advantage of it and recruit more than they need. If it was 12, 13.. it would force people off of squads and potentially bring in more squads. Whats the point in having 16 people, when there are 5/6 people benched from both squads on sunday.
16 player roster can also increase the activity for each squad. More sb's instead of having to wait around for the few that on your roster. I think we'll see an increase in sb's this way.

How many times do we have to lose players before people realize lower roster limit doesn't make more squads
If people know they are needed (small rosters) they are more likely to show up. These would prevent people like Beso from ditching his squadmates! I don't think it creates more squads because people who are cut, are likely bottom of the barrel for their current squad either, but I do think it increases effort by squads to get their people online and people feel they are more needed.
Would probably be good to make a smaller map so that 5v5 or 6v6 matches would be more fitting. Could probably get 8+ squds at that point. KR and Apollos map are ridiculously large for the current population. Any changes on increasing vision yet to decrease camping/missing/circling map?
Nobody wants to play 5v5 or even 6v6.
People would only be down for 5v5's/6 if it was one day tourney, otherwise 2 weeks in its dead. Sbs are whats needed for activity since straight pub is not enough.
I think hypocrites and kays krew will be fine it is v2 im more concerned about. Some of those guys stuck it out on distrikts squad Toolbox on SOE inf and some are indeed new to usl.
