It is quite simple, south naturally always has an advantage. Particularly on KR almost all key positions where battles take place (J Channel / big rock / weed-f3) all heavily support camps and position for collie. It is why I hate leading on this map, it is the same battles all the time. This map makes it very difficult for less skilled squads to win or cause upsets. It is very much individual and small unit 3v3 / 4v4 / 1v1 battles that will ultimately determine the course of the match. EC is my favorite, it allows squads to ambush, hide vision and generally just mix battles up a lot and surprise enemy off guard. We just need a map that is left vs right and symmetrical physics put in place, ie no un-balanced chokes on one side like f3/f5/south right of big rock/j channel.
Thank god somebody said it
Kr is finally showing its age. The new wave of squads are either very stacked or not. Back in the day the competition is dispersed a bit more thus making kr more friendly to lower tier squads. I prefer EC on new infantry due to the lack competition.
Bomb's map was the most balanced USL map.
I heard he did a lot of studying at a library before making it :>
