You didn't connect the middle part like a doughnut. Edit: Dave agrees with the doughnut idea because well...doughnuts.

+1 would bang darth on that map.
I think it's too easy to rape squads on that map, on the img I'm posting the red dots are where I would position my guys to rape easily. You can trap a weak squad in their base and force them to push through small chokes. I suggest putting a wall in the middle on both sides so the other team has a chance to escape. I would also add pathing between exit routes of the dropship. I would also widen the hallways http://imgur.com/iBtWg9m
Agreed that even with the third exit for each base, it's still far too easy to rape a respawning team. Edit for autocorrect.

All maps are respawn rapeable. At least this one has wider and farther exit points. If you look at the history of all the maps, EC on collie's side is the only one that has the farthest exit points but still rapeable. Each map so far only has 3 ways or less of escaping.
I would also, would also do this. Don't forget I'd also do that aswell.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that there is a map where a team can't be raped outside of dropship. What I'm specifically saying is that it looks TOO easy to rape. Judging from memory and looking at the map now, all of those exits possess a narrow bottleneck with a small choke at the end of it. There's no connection between the exits so that you can't flank from the dropship without taking a long time to do so. Neither KR nor EC have such a small funnel without having a possible recourse from another angle.
Apollos map probably most balanced we've played on ever as far as collie advantage and raping
I think titan has the advantage on Apollo's map for sure. Holding left side of tunnel/rocks is so easy lol
I think its the most balanced out of what we have to pick from. I could honestly careless what map we play on as long as it isn't kr or ec again
I'd like to push to try and get map selection put into USL. If it's possible to have 2-3 USL zones up at once with different maps and the home captain gets to decide map while the away captain gets to decide side. I've been advocating it for a few seasons but it's never really been discussed much. I could code something into the website in the scheduling part with a drop down menu that lets the captains pick their map/side for the matches. Unless captains feel like that would take away from the tactics of not letting the opponent know which map/side you want.
I do agree that Apollo's map has been the most balanced in terms of overall feel and structure.
It can be done this season champion, bombs still wont get played though lol. Its doomed for free infantry.
Well I'm not trying to get it done just because of Bomb's map. I think if we use this method we won't have this map drama each season and it will make things more interesting.
Id really like to get this lava map into the rotation for this season, if not definitely next so im pushing hard on it. Still waiting for a squad to sb on but its only been up for a day really.
I like champs idea. Do bombs, apollo's and maybe lava of it turns out decent
