it's like comparing MJ to wilt,diff eras, some guys always been good like silent/champ or ER or killer2540, also everyone plays diff, some never played for stats, jut to win, imo the best ever will have several diff people, best med maise, sky, stresscoat,slob , best marine player1, chris, jejo, nader IDB squashball, leaders KVQ Darth Kippa yosh, then you have an ass load of guys tht can do everything iso em4 mecca killer also, sov too many to name, eras and types of players. also just my opinions. oh and im really the best at every class but i think everyone has known that forever.

I definitely agree with the "different eras" line. I've been fortunate to be involved with this game from 1999 to present, and have gotten to see some really good players over the years. Here's a few of them. Best Medic: Best overall is tp- Hands down, the guy WOULD NOT DIE. This was back when heals were a little overcharged and long knives were even deadlier. But he played for the Alliance pre-Skirmish League and he was really active for SL Season 1 and a little bit of SL 2. Absolutely astounding player, he really would've blown you away with how talented he was. Other notables: Je-, Sky, Kaga, XZ- Best Medic Duo: Siren and Dilandau` - Were married, had their computers sitting side by side, and played for Envy from SL 1 - SL 4. They had a pretty incredible chemistry between them, and games that should have been lost on talent were won purely on medics. Best Support Class (Grenadier, Ripper): Best overall would be Jeffro147. Wardogs wasn't even near the best squad in SL2 - SL5, but Jeffro would still put up huge numbers week-to-week winning Heaven's Wrath (grenadier award) essentially every season he participated. He was also the squad captain, and put together one of the most fun groups of guys in Wardogs I was ever privileged to play with. Other notables: T-Bagger (GR), Killer2540 (GR), Herthbul (RI), Akzel (RI) - Had I not gone with Jeffro, Akzel was the most lethal ripper to ever play the game, no question about it. Best Sniper: Zizzer and DarkCloud~ They played at the same time, and the duels were incredible to watch. Zizzer was the best at picking off medics and reading the field. He tended to go lone wolf and hunt in the trees, and he moved so well marines had a tough time killing him solo. DC would move with his team, and liked to add sniper bullets to team firepower. Very different playstyles, both on the top 10 at the same time. Seasons 4, 5, 6, 7 were particularly intense because of how important snipers became in the game. Other notables: Killer2540, who filled in as sniper for his teams regularly, and was always clutch ;) Best Marine: Here is a list that could go on for days, but in my humble opinion here is your top 5. 1. Dr. Jejo 2. Miller Lite -={SF}=- aka cncougar 3. xTREAMxMEASUREx 4. Legacy 5. Chr0me Other Notables: skm, N0one, holy hand grenade of antioch, Forefall, Atlas, Crockett, H0L0CAUST, Phony, and any others I should put here that I can't because I've forgotten more than I remember. Best Leader: Ucross - guy formed Skirmish League from the most chaotic circumstances in less than a couple of months. Two months after that he had a website built for the league, and it looks virtually identical to the website we are using right now for USL. To top that, he took his CTF squad (The Alliance) and brought over some people interested in Skirmish League, and formed The Alliance \S/, who won the league in SL 1, SL 2, SL 3 - and I don't think they lost a single game the entire time. Other notables: KVQ, Jeffro147, JackCrow, Marhault Elsedragon, Maddux Best team to ever grace the game: 1. The Alliance \S/ 2. U 3. Special Forces (SFO) nd one more team for the record books. I think we all know how YOU feel about my player ratings ;) There are PLENTY of good players on this list. I think I did Trisance a disservice by leaving him off. He's one of the all-time greats for sure. Vlad the Destroyer and Un0me were both fantastic. I don't think they were Zizzer and DC level, but both deserved their scope awards (if I remember correctly). DC quit playing long before their time though, and Zizzer was faded by then. Seasons 6 and on were definitely a different era in SL. The day they made us provide a credit card to keep playing a game that had been free for years was the day it all went to shit. I think we lost 50% of the community in Season 5.

To add to that: Shit resos Awful aim The avg tactics back then were awful Didn't understand stacked load times (lol) The players who were great years ago, actually had brains and talent. That's why someone like tris (if we had a pop and usl was thriving and he played more often) would still be as dominant as he used to be. Unlike say, 1/2 the guys on NB.

There was some very good players on nb I didn't like most of them, but they wouldn't be shit players if they played straight through like the rest of us
