How old is your kid, because honestly my oldest son is almost 4 we play this together and he has no fucking clue what a pokemon is just wonders why dad is geeking the fuck out running into the woods, screaming it's EEVEE Spelled backwards. Which after my initial enthusiasm it turns out isn't that uncommon at all.
