Draft set for next Sunday - don't forget to select your keepers
what happens if you don't select keepers, my team isn't exactly keeper friendly
i don't often use keepers in fantasy so i don't know how it works, does it count as your first two picks or do people just to keep 1/2 players and then still get to pick ahead of you, etc
Keepers suck
No you only lose th draft round your keeper was selected in, so if you don't pick them you don't lose a draft pick
fix ur motherboard before worryin bout draft. Thx for clarifying keepers
kthx
c u sunday2draft
How do you select them on the fantasy app ? And how many ?
Nvm I got it
What happens if both of the keepers are from the same round ?

I'm not sure about that actually
I looked it up and they said usually it takes your next best pick as well.. so first and 2nd but that seems kinda messed up lol I think it should take a 1st and a 3rd and keep the 2nd so it's balanced
We will find out lol
my 2 best players retired after last season rofl. rip calvin and marshawn
I can't find much information on keepers, but I'm not sure what you stated is how it works.
Per this Thread (a year ago):
https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2vogds/first_time_running_a_keeper_league_in_espn_last/
The top response is:
"He's asking if your selected keeper(s) can avoid being your first round draft pick. As far as I know, there isn't a way around this ESPN default setting. You could make an agreement with your league members to go along with your method, though. ESPN isn't as customizable as I wish it were.."
I think with how ESPN has it set-up, regardless of who you select as keepers, it's going to be your first and 2nd round picks.
This is highly beneficial to some teams and not so much to others (obviously myself included).

3 Teams with (essentially) 2 First Round Picks / 2 With 2 of the Top 5 Players
3 Teams with (essentially) 0 First Round Picks
Might be slightly better if it was as you say (I could at least keep Baldwin for nothing @ that point, or Palmer as a 10th round pick), but I don't believe it's like that. The 2 keepers are going to be your 2 first picks if you select to keep them so it's going to throw the league in heavy unbalance from the get go.
my team doesn't have anyone worthy of keeping, not a fan of keepers unless it's an auction draft.
this is not infantry related.....
Which is why we're discussing this under the General Discussion forum.
Yeah your two keepers are selected automatically in your first two rounds, so I guess if you don't select them you can get whoever? But there's no reason not to select two... Because you will get the same draft order after anyways
lol. look at my team, there is literally no one worth keeping that isn't retired.
The reason not to select them is my highest ranked players (based on the same rankings) are #30 and #38. I think for dp and r, it might be even worse. #2/#4 and #3/#5 compared to #30/#38 is absurd when comparing the first two picks when it was luck based to begin (draft order) with on who got what a year ago.
I mean if we don't select we keep our first and second picks right?
at least that way one of us gets a shot at zeke plus probably players better than what we currently have that will be released from other teams.
