If Salary does happen, is it possible to do blind ratings? I don't know if there is a system doable for this.. but can whoever is rating ONLY look at the stats for the last 3 seasons and not look at the name of the player? Removes any and all bias.

A good concept in theory but it's not too hard to figure out who's who with cross-referencing and simple math, if someone wished to do so. (IE: I'd figure out which one champion is and rate him 0 like usual).

true, I assume some would be obvious.. but I doubt someone would put the effort in for every player.. especially if we gave them some sort of time frame to complete it by.

It's not really a matter of every player. If I was voting and wanted to be biased against someone, I simply look at that person's profile, determine K/D for them and then cross reference the stats in the voting table and make sure they get rated real low (or high).

I don't think blind ratings are a bad idea, last year the ballots were only the voters ratings so they can't copy and paste (like awards) adds another layer of accuracy imo

Using blind ratings like that is also somewhat iffy in that we're making the assumption statistics are everything and eliminating the eye test. If I stand in the back and leech Ernie for 5 kills, despite Ernie doing 90 dmg to 5 players while I do 10 dmg to 5 players, am I better than Ernie? In a blind rating 5-0 is better than 0-0.

Blind ratings is an awful idea. The only people who should be rating players are the people who watch these players regularly. Stats are just one small part of rating a player.
