Breakdown Summary
Overview: Angry Frogs seems to be a squad you may overlook just based off lineup; but what separates them from opposing squads is their chemistry they have built throughout the years. This chemistry expands many years for at least half of the roster between SOE and Free Inf; which could mean victories for AF throughout season 3. This squad is composed of System err0r ideology all throughout its core and that is not a bad thing. Team work will always overpower raw talent and this team will have its opportunity to showcase its consistent but deadly tactics.
Key Players:
Win Arguably one of the most consistent leaders that Infantry as a whole has had. Win, is very aware of his surroundings and will continuously fall back and/or maneuver his team to gain positioning against the opposition. He knows KR/EC like the back of hand. He is no newbie to tough matches and has proven it by winning championship(s). What he may lack in raw talent, he makes up for in leadership presence and the trust he has gained from his players is what separates a great leader from a good one.
Deviak Aggressiveness is Deviaks cornerstone of play-style. He uses the unorthodox approach of pushing players back until he gets the kill. While he may get tunnel vision 50% of the time, he usually ends up gaining a kill or two in the process. When he is on his A game, he will be a force to be reckoned with. With that being said, if Deviak is having an off night; he may cost his team a crucial battle or two. If Win can pace Deviak this season, I see a high kill number for him along with an MVP in a match Won.
Pandy This player this hard to review as he is very hit or miss; in years past he was a top tier marine. Lately, however he has been average in terms of overall skill and talent. I believe it has little to do with being faded and moreso to do with how much time he gives to infantry. I would still shed positive light on Playerandy over most of the marines on this squad.
Brillhart Hit or miss, havent since brill play lately but would like to see if he still has what it takes to sustain battles. He was never a battle opening marine to me, but he is a good support marine. I heard he may be playing medic this season? If so, Id like to see how that transpires. I see good things coming from Brillhart.
Romulocks Veteran medic with a nose for tactics. His biggest strength is his vocals to better support marines and the leader of the squad he is playing for. Id like to play on the same squad with GNR some day. He is about as oldschool as they come; and does not bring unneeded deaths to his squad. If he does die in a fight, its usually healing a couple of marines or blocking for one of his marines. I rarely ever see him dying to a lawsnipe.
In all honesty, I will be ranking Angry Frogs as a lower tier squad and not because of skill set, but because I havent really seen them be as active as the top tier squads this offseason. If their marines, Pandy, Pliskin, Win, and Deviak can come into matches like its the years 2005-2008, they will be easily favored in the top tier squad bracket. It is up to Win, to reform and attack the other squads; luckily with his experience and chemistry with his current squad roster, do see this being attainable.
