Warhawks has been the quintessential squad for many seasons; past and present. Their leadership (the gift and Fairfax have been consistently moving this squad forward. They have many veteran players on this squad that would be a starting player on just about every squad in this league: Mecca, TG, Leak, Tactical, Apollo, Fairfax just to name a few. All these individuals have the smarts and capabilities of opening up and sustaining battles for major upsets. Warhawks marine line up is one of my favored from the other squads and not just because of raw talent, but because they are smart. I would take warhawk's keen awareness to the battlefield over a marine that pushes constantly and gets a kill; this mentality does not win championships. The ability to outsmart the opposition main vs main and flank vs flank is what seperates WH from the likes of IV and CK. Please understand when I mean outsmart, I do not mean just the person leading.. I mean the players on this squad individually know infantry and USL like the back of their hands. My biggest concern with warhawks is who leads them? I've heard it be; TG, Mecca, Sum, Apollo? Take it from me and Predators (last season); having different leaders day in and day out will not work. Sticking to one..maybe two may be the best bet. Player Notes: Tactical: 88 �Ernie is the top marine on this squad in my opinion. He would be the top marine on just about any squad in the last 8 years. I have never seen Ernie get most deaths, but 90% of the time I see him ranking 1,2, 3. It is a pleasure to play with and watch this marine execute his veteran talents on the field. He is a force to be reckoned with and with the right support marines by his side; he will put up big numbers. Leak: 85 �I had the pleasure of playing with leak on Access Denied; very smart player that uses the map to his advantage. He has surprised me with his nade bounces, strafe patterns and fall back tactics. I consider leak a player that will open up battles for WHs throughout the season. Mecca: 84 �Mecca is a player that will surprise the hell out of you. He will always be when you least expect it and will manage to get more than one kill in the process. The best part about Jordan is that he doesn't rage quit (I'm looking at you Apollo). Apollo: 83 �Great leadership with great play. Apollo and I have a love hate relationship; but he means well at all times. He can lead just about any group of people and be successful at it. The only issue I see with Mark is that he gets upset very easy and will allow this anger cause him to make poor decisions. If he can keep his cool, he will definitely be a top marine ontop of his veteran knowledge. Fairfax: 82 �Top medic on a top squad. I've never really played with fax, but watching him over the years has shown that his primary concern is healing. He knows how to distract enemy by tossing a nade and getting a group heal going. Or by dodging law snipes in Close quarter scenarios. If he can continue to stay alive, his marines are capable of getting the task completed. tg: 80 �Gift, has improved since SOE. I never considered him a top tier marine back in the day; but has changed my mentality of him on FI.He can handle his own 1v1 on the battlefield and can assist in the leadership department on top. I enjoy tg as a good support marine. Overview: Top tier squad with top tier players. Definitely has what it takes to win the championship this season. They just need to iron on their leadership kinks.
