Do you Americans get upset when people use your flag as fashion? Like swimming trunks/etc? I always found it odd people wear flag clothing.
I always found it amusing that during the Scottish Indy referendum a lot of the American press found it horrible that the Union would be broken up and Scotland would turn into a Mad Max-like environment. Still, hope you all had a great 4th of July. Regardless of political alignments.
I read something yesterday that made me chuckle ~60 countries have gained Independence from the United Kingdom ~50 of those countries have some kind of day of celebration for that Independence That means 1/7 of the year, some country is celebrating Independence from the UK. In other words, on average, once a week someone is celebrating Independence from the UK. Fun little fact if true.

I think I get a little more tilted when I see tools wearing camo tbh
It's way more offensive when people go to thrift shops and wear dead guys army stuff lol Nobody cares about wearing the flag unless you actually cutup a flag
Ya that's fucked up, same with those idiots that go around wearing army clothes to get free shit.

Coincidentally almost everyone of those people have a rank of colonel or higher. Because ain't no fake private getting 10% off their Appleby bill.
Well some of them just do it for the attention, but I've seen videos online of these idiots getting free shit, most people don't know the difference when it comes to ranks, they just see some dude walking around in camo clothes.

Btw serious Q for the veterans here, do you get a tremendous sense of pride when seeing our nations flag shown anywhere you may walk by? I still do, also get pissed off when someone drops it on the floor.
Same.
"Cool Story" time. I had an ex-coworker 3 months after I got out of the military that would claim he was in the military as well. Majority of the service members that get out don't talk about their service in detail unless asked, so when my job heard I was in, co-workers would ask me all sorts of questions. Well he took notice and started saying he went too, even went as far as wearing an older army outfit, boots, pants and the t-shirt underneath. When I confronted him, he said he was a black powder sniper. I go "WTF?" First off you are 24.. secondly the uniform you got on went out of style in the 70's, third you can't even tell me a base name that you were at. Fourth, Black powder... seriously? So yea, people like that really piss me off, abusing the uniform for their own means of whatever.

Stolen valor videos are a rabbit hole you don't want to go down.
my favorite one is when the guy asked the man what his rank was and he said "sniper"
