The comment I made about playoffs being set in stone isn't necessarily true. This match is, most likely, the last deciding match for the playoffs. If Mean Girls wins, next week they play Pumping Iron and Thugs Cry Too plays idc in the final week of the season. This puts Mean Girls in a very winnable scenario. This would put MG at 3-3 and TCT at 2-4, thus putting MG in the playoffs. Mean Girls (1-3) A dream possibility for these guys and they CAN do it, anyone who thinks this nail is already in the coffin needs to get your money back from the hardware store...or the morgue...whichever would be in charge of the nail in the coffin. A big factor in this could be the meds. I've seen Chica be a stand out med and can really work hard to keep her team alive, but in the midst of that I've seen her eat harsh streams or a law to the face. babble, I hate to call you out, but most deaths in a game where you win as a medic can't happen as it did in Week 5 against USL Hotline, of all teams (sorry Infinite, but thank you to your guys for hanging in there.) Previous Matches: vs. No Weebs Allowed - L 90-32 vs. HEDCHOTTAS - L 68-48 vs. USL Hotline - W 47-42 @ idc - L 101 - 27 Overall Match Summary: They've played what is now the top 3 squads. The problem is it doesn't seem like everyone shows up every week. Against idc, Uni got 8 kills, but a couple of mid-high caliber marines did pretty abysmal. Against, USL Hotline, lyric went 15-8 with 1784 points, while again, several players had pretty sub-par performances. All of their players are going to have to be on point to take this away. Potential/Ideal Line-up: Lyric mad? Phlow Universal Soldier 2k Touk (marine/counter-ripper?) Octavian/Emp Medic (med) chica (med) Note: I know that Medic is classified as a marine this season, but he's medded and done well for his squad when needed. Thugs Cry Too (2-2) A must-win game here, as stated above they could get knocked out of the playoffs entirely. Their main guys have to show up and play well. Negative ratios from your top guys and meds getting caught out of position just can't happen again because, as stated. Mean Girls CAN win this game and with a top tier idc on the horizon for the final week, TCT now has to win out of necessity. Previous Games: vs. USL Hotline - W 73-16 @ Pumping Iron - W 59-28 @ No Weebs Allowed - L 86-13 vs. HEDCHOTTAS - L 46-32 Overall Match Analysis: Again, don't let the blowout by NWA fool you, these guys are tough. They just didn't know what to do on Kaiser's Pass. This week, we run the Apollo Map, which is another map people are not 100% familiar with due to the favor shown towards EC and KR. However, it's old enough that the guys on TCT should have at least played it a little. I missed last week's game live, but I'm glad I did, because had my squad put me in, my analysis wouldn't have been exact!! :). In all seriousness though, the game was as close as I thought it'd be. Some stats from HC players are missing. 4 kills are unaccounted for, meaning that TCT just let Split, Kevin, and kaga run through them a bit. However, there are also 11 unaccounted for deaths. Neither med has stats, so that's probably a good portion of it. Either way, kill-wise we have a good understanding of what last week looks like. Potential/Ideal Line-Up: Black Torch Sabotage Mizzouse Beso typhoon Negativezero (Med) Mercy (Med) Note: A few players could show up and really turn this into something, but the activity is the only thing stopping this squad. Game Summary: Mean Girls is active and overall, very positive. They never walk into a match thinking they are going to flat out lose, and even in scenarios where it's obvious they've found a way to make their squad fun. That really can be a key thing in this game is enjoying it. TCT is a Sunday only squad, but in this case we are looking at the raw power of some of the guys in the starting lineup that could really be the deciding factor.
