You can start testing things before the super bowl. That's still like 3 weeks away.

We have no squads/teams atm We're not sure what we want to test I was planning on using the time between now and the Super Bowl to get focused feedback on exactly what changes we wanted to look at, whether it be maps/flags/classes/etc. Season 16 literally just ended and half the league rejoiced to be free. I assumed that meant ya'll actually wanted a break. Combine that with some players saying we need to change things up for next season. You figure that means we take more than a month off.

nobody actually wants a break, the alternative is have the season start in June which would be unacceptable. We have til 4/14 to get a season out of the way. I'd test some little things now, then focus on making major changes for the season after where we could have 6-8 weeks to test while thrones is on.

Completely get that. But give it a week squads will form and people will start bitching about why the season isn't started yet. Just trying to help you avoid the bitching most of us put up with.

I'm just here to do what the community wants If playing during GoT is unacceptable. Ya'll need to hurry up and make teams. Because there's only 9 weeks between the Super Bowl and Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere. Meaning we have to start no later than February 17th, which means missing zero Sundays in that stretch as well. Assuming 7 squads.

I'm going to redo the poll actually I guess. Assuming you guys aren't trolling and are serious about wanting to get S17 in before GoT - we'll need to adjust the options obviously.

i agree with mecca alot of people are into got and would not show to the matchs. plus we can use those weeks for testing and new ideas. i would like to see Triton Badlands in the map pool for this season.
