Hello. The poll seems rather even in regards to what EMP thought was a troll to show me no one wants trading. Let me clarify what my idea entails: For a trade to go through, during roster lock: ALL OD THESE MUST HAPPEN. - Both captains MUST agree to the trade - All players involved in the trade MUST agree to the trade - Once the two items above happen, Staff memebers must take a vote on to approve or disapprove the trade. (This will stop bogus obvious stacking trades, like trading bad player for a really good player) Once all above are met the trade is finalized. Tell me this isn’t a good idea.

It's not a good idea. The poll was put up for one reason, to fully illustrate to Apollo why Eric and past Admins haven't polled every little idea the community has. And why I won't be either.

My trading idea only happens during roster lock. This allows some more excitement in the league. No stacking can be done because the staff wouldn’t approve a stack or unfair trades.

Emp, you do realize that the poll is relatively close correct? Any idea, especially one that is that close should be polled. Nobody gives a fuck if you think it's a good idea or not. I would rather have weekly/monthly polls for random ideas, than "which feud is better". So to fully illustrate my point, next week if someone else has a league related poll, that should be put up too. It's better than nothing, does literally zero harm and would shut someone up with their idea. Thanks for putting it up, you should be polling league based ideas all season. Free advice since you're new to the job.

Doesn't matter if he is trolling, he presented his ideas and got people behind him to vote. Do I agree with it? No.. he still deserves a voice and a vote. If people want to throw their vote away and 'troll' their vote, it's their right to.

Not every idea is worthy of consideration. A vetting process has to happen in order for an idea to be seriously considered lest we have a poll for every crackpot idea and make this game a job instead of a game. If we voted on Leadership, they would be given the authority to do so. However, because it's kind of a bestowed authority by the previous administration, I think this is where the tension lies. How do you get your voice heard legitimately? Currently and historically, it is simply the process of sharing ideas freely in this format which is in no way a guarantee that said ideas will be considered. This is where reputation matters. If you consistently help the league, your voice is likely to heard by the admins. If you are a troll, likely you will be dismissed. If you are are a chronic complainer who offers no support, likewise your voice probably doesn't have much standing. If you want to be a part of the leadership, it's not a popularity contest, so you don't have to run for office on the puclic forum level. You should probably talk one on one with the current admin. By all means, share your ideas publicly and generate discussion.

I will always poll legit ideas. This was not one of them. A lot of things you want polled are not legit ideas.

I would agree with you with a vetting process Fax if we had solid ideas and a limited time to poll them Fax, however given the last poll before that.. it's clear that we don't. I have said, and others have said in the past to poll ideas all season. There is no denying that a lot of polls generate discussion, with that said .. a poll that wins shouldn't be instantly implemented but discussed and narrowed down more in an open forum. Reputation doesn't matter with your voice. Backs has just as much right to a vote or an idea than anyone else. It's the people that stand behind those ideas. If people want to troll the league and turn it into an even bigger shit show they should be allowed to. Even if you disagree with it.

to make trades during roster lock is a legit idea, I personally think it's dumb.. but he is allowed to have that idea. Just because you think it's dumb also, doesn't mean he and the 18 other people that voted should be silenced.

I apologize for adding an exciting element to the roster lock portion of the game. Yes I know in pro sports you can’t make trades during the playoffs or after the trade deadline. But guess what? Infantry isn’t a pro sport you fucking idiots. I honestly think adding trades during roster lock would be dope as fuck. Trades would only be approved by the captains, the players involved and then it goes to the staff for the final decision to approve or deny. How is this a bad idea? What bad things can come from this? ONLY good things can come from this. It adds another element of strategy. What if sov wants a better marine for the champ match so he trades a good medic for a good marine?... of course only if approved by all parties. Sorry for trying to make this league more interesting. I apologize.
