If you know how to position yourself as ripper on KR or have a captain who understands how to play with a ripper, it’s easily the best map. There are so many angles and setups you can get to really fuck the enemy up without being in any harm.
EC there are like 4-5 chokes and maybe 2 areas where ripper excels at and then it plays like garbage on the rest of the map.
But hey, what to do I know. I haven’t played ripper almost exclusively for last few seasons to test its viableness.

Where is the revert AT?
- Reduce range
- No movement speed
The entire point of the dash was so it had to be close to impact fights. An AT should not be able to contribute in most of these fights unless they get closer. That was the entire reason they had armor. They tank more in order to be close enough so the bullets hit.
Either you reduce range and keep the tank armor. Keep the range and sacrifice the tank armor.

Just because you played ripper exclusively doesnt mean you are good at it or understand how to use it correctly. You believe what you want to believe, your stats and performance in game shows for it.

Noskeeper is only one that’s a toss up. Run me as a ripper with a good lineup on KR or apollo and then sub yourself in. Test it.

What about Sniper ratings?
Tyrael was a God ripper in SL..There was no one better than him there. I can't speak to if he played in recent years, but if the comparison is to him back there, then calling him mid-tier isn't just wrong, it's delusional
Talking USL Bowen, two different rippers. SL ripper does way more damage and the play style is vastly different. Hiding in trees and streaming close to mid range streaming. Happy to acknowledge he did great in SL.

the only way ripper is good is if you take resources away from other teammates and have a med on you. Every time I med and there is a ripper, I end up having to heal that dude 3x more than anyone else, which takes away from the team. Shit class unless you're actively trying to camp in which case it's great for holding choke points. And EC is not the only map to do that.

The bullets for ripper never went 'through' it would land and spawn a 2nd bullet. You could get twice the max range for ripper(hit max range then spawns another bullet). Also double the shots if hitting. Don't act like it was changed for no reason mecca lol
Well, it was changed because the bullets would "ricochet" off objects like 1/20 bullets, which in turn took away passing through teammates.
Weren't those 2 separate features?
