USL POWER RANKINGS (Free Infantry � Season 1) These power rankings and predictions are based off of our subjective views on the current season. Perceptibly, these rankings may be inaccurate as the season progresses, but this is how we currently see the standings thus far. If there are any disagreements or opposing views in regards to our choices, we highly prefer that you create and post a power ranking list of your own. POWER = 8W/4L Marine Skill: 7.5/10 (Best Player = Tactical) Medic Skill: 7/10 Leadership: 6/10 We view this team as one of the higher tier squads this season due to the experience and skill of the marines and medics, which is reflected off of their ratings. Led by Apollo, a seasoned veteran of USL, the combined power of the marines and medics puts this squad on a higher level in comparison to other squads. In viewing this subjectively, it is hard to accurately rate this team due to Apollo�s undeniable fear in sbing a certain squad. AD = 8W/4L Marine Skill: 7/10 (Best Player = Ninja) Medic Skill: 4/10 Leadership: 5/10 Access Denied is a squad that we feel has potential and will do well, despite some of their ratings being fairly low. The reason we feel this way is due to the skill and teamwork of the marines bringing up the weaker side of the squad, filling in possible gaps and closing battles when they need to. Additionally, this squad tends to squad battle every chance they get, with or without their leader, Chaos Blade. The best strategic modification we feel that Access Denied has made thus far is moving Trax to the bench :heart: Curse = 6W/6L Marine Skill: 5.5/10 (Best Player = Colossal) Medic Skill: 8/10 Leadership: 6.5/10 Similarly, Curse is a team that also has great potential following Access Denied. Where the marines lack, the medic duo team of Manu and Kiss fill. With the lack of marine depth, the medics are the focal point of the squad, with only one or two very strong marines. Additionally, we feel that Easoe is an X-factor in this squad, potentially worth 1 or 2 more wins than we currently have listed. Mecca is a slightly better version of Apollo, excluding the fact that Mecca�s squad lacks the marine depth that Apollo�s squad currently has. SE = 4W/8L Marine Skill: 4/10 (Best Player = ER) Medic Skill: 4.5 or ? Leadership: 6.5/10 Although System Err0r (the only returning squad from SOE Infantry) is a prospect team that can achieve the status of a higher tier squad, they are very inactive and barely squad battle during the week. With their focus on other games (and with Pandy in med school and Raver being MIA), their inactivity and lack of squad battles will show during the season. Though their marines and medics are a bit lacking, their focal point is in their leader, Darth. With Darth being an experienced leader with good positioning, their battles may come very close but will in the end fall slightly short of a win. BB = 3W/9L Marine Skill: 3/10 (Best Player = Killer) Medic Skill: 2.5/10 Leadership: ?/10 A key topic we wanted to discuss regarding Bang Bros is their loss in Deviak, their former leader. Bang Bros went from coming close in squad battles to getting completely blown out without him. Without a clear leader (is it hairynutz? or iceman, who�s currently on the bench?) and a lack of marine and medic strength, the squad downsizes in comparison with others. However, if they utilize smart plays with Killer as grenadier, it is possible for them to rise slightly higher than where they currently stand. Given enough time, we hope that they can stay together as a single unit and develop their skills in order to stand with the higher tier squads. v2 = 1W/11L Marine Skill: 2/10 (Best Player = Negativezero or Danyo the God) Medic Skill: 1.5/10 Leadership: 2/10 Now we don�t want to come off as complete assholes, but we view this squad as one of the lower tier squads. They are not very good, they are not that bad, but we credit them with trying very hard. We respect MikeC for picking up and bringing in inexperienced and new players into USL, and we hope that they continue to work hard and develop the skills required to become better players. Although we hate this idea, we advise you to utilize camping specific areas (ex: east mid) during squad battles and practicing holding chokes better in order to keep the score close instead of getting blown out. I'll do idc for you yosh idc - 7W/5L Marine Skill: 7/10 (Best marine Sov) Med skill: 6/10 - (Best medic Sov) Leadership: 5/10 These guys are only good because when the rest of infantry quit, majority of these dudes were on daily playing. You can basically see majority of them on all day every day. They play extremely passive aggressive and win majority of their battles when they're down players, probably because players like yosh and unb are noobs and back peddle to respawn very quickly. Champion and Sov are basically their two best players, Sol is pretty good too.. the rest kind of suck. The thing they have going for them is that they all basically talk a lot on ventrilo and call shit out, except Sov because he is scared for people to hear his voice.
