With SFO disbanded and scattered (sort of) this season looks like it is going to be the most competitive one yet. I wanted to do a focus review on one of the squads I think has a shot at winning the title this season; Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai to me looks like a fresh combination of very good players that is still trying to find their feet in how they want to play, but at the same time demolishing teams at will. My Starting Line-up: Colossal � Strong marine, aggressive, and a natural finisher. One of his traits that might go unnoticed is how easy it is to play with him; he�s very good at understanding where he needs to be positionally and great with focus firing. I think he�ll find his niche in this squad quickly and be one of their top contributors in matches. e � Not much I can say about him that people don�t already know. He�s probably one of the best �pushers� I�ve seen in the game, meaning I feel he is at his best when the team is on the move and pressing forward in tight situations. Always manages to grab kills even if the battle is not going the team�s way. Top marine. Iron � Very good medic, knows what he�s doing and showed he�s capable of performing at a high level with IDC season one. He doesn't necessarily catch the eye with his medding but is very solid. Q � Below is actually a fantastic marine when he�s not rage-typing at his team. I think he might be one of the surprises of the season if he keeps his form up and could be vital in breaking battles open and keeping them open. Also a decent medic on his day, his versatility can come in handy as well. Surgeon � Grade A Asshole but undoubtedly one of the best leaders in the game for me still. I think his leading thrives on EC, constantly faking falls and ambushing teams unpredictably. He�s going to be responsible for gelling these guys together and getting the best out of his marines. I�m not sure if he�s going to med or marine this season, but as long as he�s leading this squad will thrive. The Great Khali � Sov has been the most dangerous marine for me in FI so far, and oddly enough one of the best medics as well. I�ve never really seen a player who is so equally good at playing two different classes in USL. This flexibility will give Kippa a nice set of options to consider before match day. Sov�s best quality is probably his aim and his inability to die, knows when to fall and when to light you up. Y � Extremely underrated marine in my eyes, I love playing with him when I get the chance and I think he�s going to be a strong asset to this team. He might be overshadowed a bit by the talent on this squad but I think he�ll be vital in providing stability and racking up kills. Armor � The last spot is either going to Armor/Cael but I�m still uncertain of their activity and who they are going to have as starting meds. I think Armor may have the upper-hand on Cael if it comes down to playing marine. Armor has fantastic aim and a strong understanding of the game which would really help make things easier on kippa, especially the way he wants to lead. Discussions have also been thrown around of beefing and including ripper in USL, so if that goes through I can see Armor taking the ripper responsibilities if the squad would want to utilize it. ------- I think with the leadership, experience, and personnel of this squad, they are definitely going to be title contenders. How they develop and form chemistry in the coming weeks will be important as to how they will match up against the other top squads in the league. I can see them finishing Top 2 in the season and making it all the way to the champ match.
