Squadless players can now declare free agency from the User Panel on the left side of the website. This will enter your name into the Free Agents tab in the navigation pane to help you get recruited.

just wondering, but shouldn't that page list only squadless players? Seems all of the listed names belonged to a squad somewhere, even inactive squads. So players who register themselves need to be squadless as a condition first.

it says "last squad"

Yeah, it's already a condition. That's the best representation of their last squad. Unfortunately it's not 100% accurate at the moment. The players there don't have a squad - you can click into them to verify.
