What's worse? Catering to 15 people (that you're a part of) and watching season after season of only one good game a week OR Splitting those same problematic 15 players up, and either they quit or play, who gives a shit, and the 75 other players have a much more competitive game to play The only people advocating for allowing ridiculous stacking to continue are the stackers themselves, and unfortunately they also happen to be in charge of the league. Everyone complains each week about how unbalanced the league is, and yet you little bitches won't speak up when an actual discussion comes up. I end up being the only loudmouth, and then you all PM me in-game "oh wow dude you make some good points but I don't want so and so not to want to recruit me"

Correction: Players on bad squads not making playoffs complain about stacking. Players who are good, can use their brain, strafe and aim end up on playoff squads don't. Players with potential always find their way onto playoff squads eventually.

dawg I made an entire forum post genuinely trying to help people by giving tips and strategies. its not like we're getting brand new players on this game. it's a stagnant group of players who have all played this game long enough where everyone should be good. but some just don't care. so why should the people who actually took the time to get better at the game be punished? I just don't believe in forcing competition when the entire point of it is to be better than your opponent.

Ok I'll keep going. Another reason why I dont care if squads stack is because the players on those squads still help out other people. I've gotten helpful tips from players like Leak, Manu, Yosh and Sov. Every person I've asked has not turned me away. I dont necessarily need them to play on a squad with me. Like Champ says, take it as a learning experience. This is my first full season in USL and I know I've gotten better from watching the top tier squads. Hell, I've watched every single USL match on YouTube from all the various accounts as well. I dont need to be coddled and neither should anyone else.

I think you mistakenly assume that much of the population doesn't try to get better. I am constantly trying to get better. I play for a lower squad, so my scores aren't that great. I played in a mix last night where on paper, I was clearly the weakest player there. Yet I went 22-10, first place, over players like Fax, Leak, Ninj, etc. Lots of us are actively getting better, yet the way the league is set up is stacked against us.

We need more players like Abbath on the bottom tier and less like Metal. Metal has a poor me attitude because he doesn't think he belongs in the bottom tier, but his piss-poor attitude and massive ego won't let him learn from his mistakes and actually get better. You get better at this game by playing the top squads enough that you can close the gap and eventually beat them, not disperse everyone and give everyone metals for 5th place.

You're ridiculous. I have no problem with losing. I have been active and shown up to every single match for three seasons on a low-tier squad, driving an active SB culture and constantly improving. I don't care if I lose, I care about the league being fun for the 40 players who are just getting shit on because you nerds are so insecure that you can't handle being seen losing.

We do play the top squads almost every night. We have closed the gap. We have won a couple against them on the random night. I'm not complaining about my experience. I'm happy with my squad and where I am on the totem pole of things. I am advocating for a better league, not for myself. Sorry that your personal grudge against me is causing you to derail an entire discussion.

This league works like every other league in the history of infantry you take your lumps at the bottom learn what you can and try to work your way up. It's what I'm doing I'm here to learn perhaps I'll always be shit but it won't be for lack of trying.

It is rewarding to see our group improve. We do plan to return with basically the same roster. But I can see both sides of things. I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to watch idc absolutely slaughter TCT and USL Hotline like 170-13 and say "hmm, this isn't very fun to watch, and I don't think those guys are getting better right now"

I agree with the top half of Backs' statement Metal so you're comfortable where you are, you're just taking one for the team in trying to force a draft league for the squads that need it that aren't happy where they are? Yet PI is comfortable according to Abbath... you just said you'd come back with MG. I know idc/nwa is fine... USLHOTLINE doesn't care about anything. I know most of TCT are fine where we are (recruited inactives) and backs' squad well who knows but im confused on who the draft league benefits?
