I actually had plans for doing an ammo pack setup for pub play sometime soon coincidentally.

I don't like the idea of reducing starting ammo for marine/LMG. Just buff the "support" classes a bit more. Some examples: -Increase the demo/incendiary count for sappers so they don't run out so quickly. -Increase fire rate and/or clip for the ripper run and gun. -Increase explosive shotgun range/damage.

Fun fact for all those players on shit squads. Sovs first squad was with Jess. So there's hope for all of us.

Sol im fine with increasing range on explosive SG but the dmg it already does I think is good as is. Id be fine with increasing the ammo from 20 shots to 30 though. I also don't mine increasing fire rate of ripper +1 for demo and Incin nade.

Agreed with Sol about beefing ripper and the range of the shotgun explosive. Or increase the damage of the shotgun explosive, keep the same range, and also give them desert eagle again.

What about including and changing up the scout class, so that it is actually a scout? Make it usable for squads that are down by x kills. Give scout the rifle with bouncing energy bullets (idr the name), and allow the use of the EM goggles. If they get back within x kills, the user is prized marine or some other 'regular' class.

Eh once upon a time scout was in USL I think SOE season 7 is when it finally got removed. The thing is yeah youll find them and know where they are but they'll be incredibly weak for the fight that's about to take place x_x a good team will be able to rotate just fine. But by no means does this mean I wouldn't consider it so don't get me wrong.

We've tried buffing the support classes many times and it still didn't do anything. I think it's time to try and nerf marines/lmgs and give support classes more incentive to be in the lineup. You can buff support class damage all you want but it takes away the identity of the support role. Give them a reason to be in the lineup outside of damage.

If that's the case, Eric, just make it a marine with EM goggles with a different name for easy prizing.

Also the reason noone picks nader is 90% of battles are in wide open areas, and if the other team knows you have a nader they will just wait to get a pick then slowly get angles and kill the rest, knowing their up 2 AR streams. Both nader/ripper are gimmicks that hide and hope they get pushed into, any other fight they are basically useless, more so nader than ripper though, as at least they can put a stream on a med.

Also I feel like I have down syndrome when trying to aim with ripper in USL, it feels like the bullets go where they want, atleast with Marine/LMG you feel somewhat in control.

Like Champ said, the maps definitely favor marine and LMG. Could always make a map with CQ combat to encourage nader/sapper use and change up the playstyle of the battles, but fits will be thrown.

Lets be honest, the "I want to play with my friends" is a cop out. If youre still sitting on here playing with "friends" you have bigger issues. But, everyone wants to win. What do ppl do when they play a game? They want to beat it. So stacking will never stop, its been going on since the game started*. Why not try to do an actual fantasy season where we play. Get your 6 captains for the duration of the season and every week pick a new team. Non Captain players build there stats just like in the fantasy league now. But the captain that makes the most points or wins gets his fucking name on a trophy idk. I know the hard thing would be getting ppl to pick every week but lets be honest we need a change... Something different.

this game is a small cast soap opera lol, so n so hates so n so, that is kinda a mix sb league which would be fun, the main prob with squads runs into the drastic difference in awareness in an sb and the ones that are use to stacking bore with dealing with newer players, some dont but most do, people log on for fun and i guess only winning big is fun to some, im not sure that can be fixed. im down for anything really ive played with the best and worst but other games draw the bored ones who have too big of a head off. im for it but the more aloof would just go play something else, they like thier wins and talk lol). 2 real choices let it die slow or kill it now! let the ones we all know have thier fill at the expense or nuke the server, BURN IT DOWN!!!
