Being able to one shot 25% of a team is not ideal in a league that uses map with very open lines of sights, and the inability to move from cover to cover without being seen. Like kaga said you're just going to promote a more caution playstyle similar to SL, and nobody likes SL here. You mentioned meds getting hit 4-5 times, that's a perfect example of how easy it would be to hit 1 hit kills in this league.
I think Champions logic on map design is the ideal way to help the league, unfortunatley we don't have many people with the capability to design a map who also understands the flow of how this game works. I'm not taking digs at anyone, Hellspawn has been great and has kept and open mind when listening to players as has the staff, I just think the right people haven't stepped up with their input I hear on discord all the time.
The medic class is fine as is, the only thing that needs to be address is the medkit jamming. That never used to happen to me during SOE. I'd even be for a slower recharge rate if people really think medics have it easy. But getting 1 shotted in wide open USL maps is definetly not the balance that's needed here.
