After a full review of the submitted appeal regarding the match between Hot Tub Boys and 12.7mm, league administration has determined that the appeal will be denied.
The review included examination of the match timeline which was the 27:48 time stamp of the match, player conduct which entailed manu disconnecting and re-appearing then moving to spectator mode once he reconnected as opposed to relogging, available evidence which can all be seen via video recordings of the match, and the circumstances surrounding the disputed incidents, in which the ref awarded the kill on manu making it a 6-3 game. Manu should not have been put in right away and this has been addressed with the staff member involved. But it was determined that this error did not change the outcome of the match due to htb having ample substitutes readily available in his place.
As a result:
The original match result will stand.
No replay will be issued.
I'd like to remind all teams that competitive rulings are made with the long-term consistency and integrity of the league in mind. While disagreements with outcomes are understandable, repeated attempts to relitigate subjective situations after a finalized result are not productive for the competitive environment.
