A new account deletion tool is now live for anyone who wants their personal information removed from USL.
What it does
If you request account deletion, your account will be anonymized: your username, email, profile picture, biography, customization settings, and login credentials are permanently removed. You'll no longer be able to log in, and you won't appear in active player lists, squad rosters, or community ratings.
What stays
Your match history and aggregate league records remain in the archives under a generic pseudonym (e.g. deleted_user_42) rather than your name. This is because matches involved real teammates and opponents whose own records reference yours - they're part of the league's historical archive, not your personal data. Anyone visiting your old profile URL will see a simple "Account Deleted" notice instead of your information.
How to request it
Send me a message via Discord with the username you want deleted. I'll process the request and send you back a written confirmation receipt with verification steps so you can confirm everything was handled correctly.
Important note
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is anonymized, the original information is gone, there's no archive copy. If you're unsure, take a few days to think about it before requesting deletion. You can always come back as a new account later, but your old account won't be recoverable.
