Hello Community,
We are one week into the offseason heading into season 57. I hope everyone is having a great time mixing and playing pub. As we continue to navigate the offseason I just wanted to provide some insight into a few questions you may have. The head staff discussed a few action items that would like to be discussed, implemented and tested throughout the course of the offseason. We will continue to utilize the roundtable to discuss ideas from captains and head staff alike; open dialogue is always welcome.
We will assume an offseason length of 8 weeks from the ending of Season 56. As stated above, we are one week into the 8 weeks. The Date set forth will be September 13th for the commencement of Season 57. This will allow everyone to enjoy the testing of various iterations of potential classes, maps, base line revisions and Labor day alike. Please utilize Discord to host and conjure active mixes or events in the mean time. I really hope squads begin to form as time continues to pass towards the upcoming season.
In this offseason we would like to tackle the following topics:
Class revisions
Class implementations
Map rotation
Season Schedule
Playoff schedule
Rules such as: Camp punishments, base lines, and any other issues that players in roundtable voice their concerns on.
One thing I would like to point out that going forward we will try and go for shorter seasons and offseasons as some had concerns of the length of Season 56 and the "holidays" that may have prolonged it further.
In the mean time I would like to ask the community to continue their activity and voice those with the ability to host events such as dueling tournaments, 3v3 tournaments and mixes on a daily/nightly basis.
