Breakdown

Ok so let me get the positives in first so the rest of the prediction doesn't appear nasty or malicious!
The key strengths of the squad is that they are a core group of players that know each other relatively well from past playing together. They should have decent chemistry and will just take time to get back into the flow of things. The 2 best players are Chaos Blade and Havok who are strong enough to contend with the top tier squads.
This is now where it starts to get a little "mean". Most of the other members are very average and I believe many of them will need to be micro managed by cb. The problem with that is that cb doesn't micro manage, he just sort of calls out decisions and expect players to know what to do.
That is the first issue, the second issue is that cb their strongest marine has historically never played to his best ability whilst leading. Although he is still one of their strongest marines leading, it is natural when leading to be careless and even with great players you often find to struggle to hit your full potential.
So is all hope lost? No, because there is actual some potential here when you uncover some of the hidden gems deep, deep underground. I completely believe they could cause an upset or two, although it will 100% come down to leadership and tactics.
1st rule about leading a team like this, you need to play to your strengths. If you don't have the strongest players in terms of skill and experience, don't be afraid to play like a bitch. Be difficult to beat, frustrate your opposition and give your team something to fight for and hold onto. Throw in some plays and run practiced organised setups. Study your enemies playstyle to counter anything they may throw at you.
With players like val, victum and BFN they should be itching to get 100% playtime and could completely have a great season on this squad. I see a lot of potential in these players. CB just has to be realistic in his expections on how he sets his team up and not go toe-to-toe as it could then get messy real quick.
Stand out player is Havok - is a great marine/med, although on a squad like this he must marine. He is the type of guy that will make a difference against squads like New Money/ff and maybe even friends or worms.
I think if CB could recruit 1 or 2 solid marines, in particular with the loss of Deviak now, they could be a surprise this season. Although they will need a lot of luck, patience and heart to stand a chance of getting a playoff spot.
I see them being 1-6 (although please prove me wrong)
