For those of you interested, the CTFPL site is up and fully functional. Please take the time to sign up! ctfpl.ca
There are a lot of squads forming, and every captain agreed that we weren't going to stack, and that we were going to get 4-5 CTFPLers, and 4-5 USLers/new players for each squad. The reasoning behind this is to make it so that the league is more acceptable to new players and players in different leagues.
If you're interested in joining a squad, myself, Zmn, Palm, John.bat, mixm, jackie, not by choice & XXXXX are all making squads so far. Please private message any of these people on the ctfpl site or in game for more info on joining a squad.
If anyone here is interested in starting a squad, the CTFPL community is more than willing to help out. I know myself, I'll spend as much time as needed with you guys to help you gain understanding of how the CTFPL game play works. Lots of the experienced guys don't have squads yet and I know they would be more than willing to join one of your squads.
I'm aware that there's bad apples in every bunch, and I'm expecting those people to be cunts here, but if you pull your head out of your asses and realize that were all one team and - different league or not - we have the same expectations for this game, and that's for it to get back to the times when it was really hard to find a pub to unspec in. Id personally love to get a huge player base back to the game. The more action CTFPL gets, the more action USL and SBL will see at the same time. Remember, most CTFPLers played USL!
