To elaborate they turned the Nightking into a red herring made everyone who was Central to that plot who died deaths meaningless they should have just sent them to flunk out of the faceless men school and be done with it Essentially this story has devolved into a shitty semi fantasy retelling of the war of the roses.
Ernie and I read the spoilers that leaked for the final 3 episodes after last night's episode. If the spoilers are true, then let me just tell you, Dexter living as a lumberjack is a 10/10 ending compared to what we have coming. Unfortunately the spoilers had ep4 100% accurate, but it's possible the person only knew ep 4 and bullshitted the rest. Pray to god they bullshitted the rest because it only gets worse from here if they didn't.

the spoilers floating around /tv/?
Oh I read them as well, normally I wouldn't but I was hoping for some sort of coherent story to come out it unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. At this point that joke post I made on page 1 regarding GoT just being a tie in to Westworld would be a far better ending than what I've read online.
@nos Not sure. I haven't been there. Ernie mentioned them to me and I saw a thread about it on asoiaf and that's where I got my info. @gj I would take your GoT being a tie in to westworld ending over the "spoiled" ending. The spoiled ending is/was so dumb I thought it had to be a joke, but with how this season has gone so far, I feel like it might not be. I read them for the same reason. I've been disappointed so far and was hoping to see some sort of plot-twist that would change my mind or make things make sense and the opposite happened: It was just further disappointment.

I specifically loved how this entire episode was framed around stupid character deaths that served only one purpose as to telegraph Dany is going to crack. Of all the ways they chose to show this they elected to give Euron's fleet anti aircraft guns and have the only single hostage be Danys closest servant. Also the scene where they were all washed up on the beach and the subsequent list of demands to Cersei scene were beyond stupid. It looks like her army was reduced to dozens and the parlay scene doesn't help negate that notion and these idiots are going to walk to the gates and hand their demands in? I understand it's a fantasy show so you have to suspend your disbelief but that last episode was beyond the pale. At this point if they had The Mountain pilot a F-16 and strafe Danys final dragon and kill it I wouldn't be a bit surprised.
I wouldn't consider myself a huge GoT dork but this season has been fairly awful to say the least. I did read the supposed spoilers that are floating around and even if 50% of them are true then D&D are the biggest hack writers ever. Between the horrible pacing, the very questionable war tactics and NK plot line ending so abruptly I don't even know what to say. Hopefully at least Cleganebowl is cool assuming it even happens.
GRRM said "almost impossible to hit a full grown dragon in the air" lmao get rekt Euron is the Bradley Cooper of our time Iron Island Sniper hitting hedchots
so disappointed in this final season.
Can't wait for the final episode if the spoilers are true. People's heads will explode with stupidity.
plzno
havent looked at the spoilers, but if they are as bad as you guys say I cant wait
Staley this video makes a lot of sense now you read it. https://youtu.be/Vxh4hnFKaHs?t=43
I saw that posted along with the spoilers which only gave the impression that the spoilers were real. She's trying real hard not to take a dump on the writers.
That reaction doesn't give much hope, but i'd guess that it's more of a reaction to the writing of her own character going mad rather than a reaction to the season as a whole. Here's to hoping.
varys not a merman confirmed. damn.
