im a bit shaken after that, pretty epic episode, but we were already told the night king ends halfway through, jorah nooooooo!!!!!!!!!

It was a hugely entertaining episode, but plot wise -- it was extremely boring. They told us what was going to happen, and they were just playing it out. I was entertained by the episode, but it was nothing new. Can we please get GRRM writing these episodes instead of these TV hacks?

By that, I mean to say that they executed what they wanted to do very well. I especially enjoyed the sequence of Jon first entering Winterfell and seeing the individual characters fighting. Great TV, super predictable result.

No major character deaths, only secondary characters that you don't give a shit about. Every major character and arc was saved by a last minute kill that seemed to be thrown in at the end because they didn't want to alienate any of their fan base before the series was over.
