Funny how no one complained last week when about 4 players left squads and played on different squads... Where were you then???... OH aight
Because the site is broken. There should not be a wait time on players until after the season starts. Last week was week 1. Players should not be penalized for movements BEFORE the season starts. After it begins rules should be applied.
All of this is things that can be addressed in the offseason and rules fixed.

3.1 Non-Team Players are players that are not on any current season roster, or those who recently joined a squad that are still on a wait period.
3.2 Players who wish to NT must be on the Free Agent list on the USL zone.com website. This is to enable quicker roster checks by the Referees. This rule can be declared void by the Referee if the Referee determines it is necessary.
3.3 An NT player can only NT for a squad once per week.
3.4 NT players can only be used if there are no other members of the squad present. (Example: A captain cannot choose to use an NT when a member of his squad is in spec.)
3.5 Non-Team Players are allowed by default. For Playoffs, allowing NT players must be agreed upon by both squad Captains.
3.6 NT players count towards the minimum 6 players that a squad must show to play. A squad must show at least 4 from their own roster (which includes those on the wait period).
-So a Non-Team Player is someone still serving their wait period (or not squadjoined). NT's are allowed by default unless the squad shows enough squad-joined players, or if it is playoffs and the captains disallow it.
-So if MS shows enough squad-joined players, they cannot use NT's.
-Please demonstrate using the rules AS THEY ARE WRITTEN how I am wrong. Because I'm not. You are.

Yosh and kaga joined your squad to help you out. You kick yosh because he had to go afk during an sb. And in turn that caused some other players to leave. Now you're upset and you want to try and prevent them from playing. Rules are fine.

Oh how you think you know the situation of my squad. And if you would take time to READ what I've been posting rather than spewing your bullshit line you'd see I'm ok with them playing this week. I have no issues with any of them and I'm trying to get the fixed for future season at this point because your rules are broken, and vague to say the least.

The truth comes out, you are personally offended by the circumstances. That makes sense, Champion. I understand your bias. I had nothing to do with the feud, yosh was fine when he was here.
The rules are the rules though, you're right. Gotta follow them!

Yosh didn't want to be kicked. Why punish him by not letting him play?
That's why I said rules need to be fixed in the coming seasons. Players kicked or removed from their squad should have no penalty, those leaving on own accord should be forced to wait.
Either way it does not change this week because we have an administration that picks and chooses which rules it will and will not enforce. Shoutout to the kippa rule and Infinite.

Holy shit log in to see 53posts on this.
Rule 2.5 is for playoffs if captains choose to allow NTs or not.
3.1 is just explaining what an NT is.
3.4 is just explaining that you cannot use an NT if your squad has enough squad-joined players.( players in red technically are squadjoined players)
3.5 explains that NTs are allowed by default (should you need them) until playoffs when refs have to ask if captains want to allow NTs.
Riley I do remember the old SL site setup.
The reason 3.5 was implemented if I remember correctly is because some of the lower tier squads come mid season stopped showing enough which is why ultimately we started allowing players to NT by default instead of forcing forfeits and ultimately hurting the league.
3.5 will be enforced this week I am your ref for it, moving forward next season rules will be reviewed and revised IF needed.
This is my first season being in an administrative role and I wont deviate from how things have been played out over the past few seasons especially 2nd week into Season 13 because a player like Metal is butthurt.

Champ brush up on your English man. "By default" means "in absence of opposition or better alternative" .
This would mean that 3.5 should read as follows.
3.5 Non-Team Players are allowed "IN ABSCENCE OF OPPOSITION OR BETTER ALTERNATIVE" . For Playoffs, allowing NT players must be agreed upon by both squad Captains.
Quit being a simpleton Champ. I know that you are smarter than that.

Rule 3.5 is stating that NTs are allowed by default UNTIL PLAYOFFS WHEN CAPTAINS NEED TO DECIDE IF NTS ARE WAIVED OR NOT.
Prior to this rule being implemented captains were always asked by the ref if NTs are waived. This is not the case anymore. By default means that NTs are going to be waived in every single match regardless if they're needed or not, unless it is a playoff or championship match. This is so simple and I legitimately cannot tell if you're trolling or you're really this dense.

3.5 by your interpretation is the same as mine TBH. "should they be needed" , if you define a NT player as one that is still on a wait period, then they should only be used "if needed" and no other option is available.
No consent from captains to keep it playing until you get to playoffs where an opposing captain could decline the ability of a squad to use an NT

"not going to change things because a player like Metal is butthurt"
It shouldn't matter who points out an issue with the rules, especially if there is many people discussing the issue. As an administrator you are expected to be impartial and level-headed. This comment drips of sarcasm and disrespect. I don't care if you think I'm terrible at the game, or annoying you by discussing the rules. When you start saying things like "I'm only going to listen to players like...Sov, and not players like....Beta", you just make yourself look unfit for your position.
