You can't say you know everything everyone does on every squad, if its a leading award then yeah.

Ask each squad Capt to give you a name. Once you have one name per squad compare them on the charts?
Waiting til the end of the season to find out who is in contention for this award makes it useless like a participation medal.

Everyone knows everyone in this game and nuts and knows how every other player plays, it's naive to think you don't know play styles

well that's the nature of the award, it's pretty subjective and that's why it comes down to a vote and isn't based on numbers (like most kills). It's really hard to find some objective formula that would calculate the actual best support player, but it just comes down to what people see during matches and possibly throughout the week as well.

I personally don't even know why we have these awards, but if you have an award that's not quantitative then it has to come down to a voting committee who can make the best judgment based on whatever info they have.

I don't know if we need the award either, but since we do have it might as well streamline the criterion we can all agree on.

Yeah but the thing is, it isn't even subjective, it's far past that. Nobody on staff can know all of the intricacies that goes on every week on every squad. Awards that are subjective are deadliest player, best medic, staff award and league MVP. Since they are clearly not about stats alone.

I still say Support award should be support class award. While that will be subjective too, it will bring the award closer to reality. Like tg? he was on my squad when that nerd won that award and I am confident he didn't support us the "best"... and Fausto won it last season??? lol come on man.
