Breakdown

This looks to be the best match this week in my opinion. Last week was a little lopsided to say the least. And depending how this match goes, it could also be a very lopsided week. The winners won by 60-90 last week. Ouch.

Hopefully The Town, I mean Mean Girls, can keep it close and who knows what can happen. The Mafia, I mean Stiletto Nails, have been a little streaky this season so far.

vs. No Stones, they got off to a slow start, but they finished very strong

vs. snakes, they got off to a slow start, but they almost made a comeback and made it a little interesting

vs. send noobs, they got off to a slow start again, but then they finished very strong

So going off of that trend, if Mean Girls wants to win, they'll need to start the game strong. Because SN definitely gets going as the match progresses.

That might be more related to who shows up for SN though. I think they've had some attendance issues the last couple of weeks. Sol hasn't been there since Week 1. I think Trisance has been late to both of the last two matches. They're two of the stronger Marines in the league, and definitely two of the stronger Marines for SN. Speaking of strong Marines, CC finally pulled out the Marine for this season. I think he can be their 3rd best Marine if he sticks to it. He looked rusty against send noobs. Let Jane and Fax hold down the Heals.

SN is definitely going to need strong fighters moving forward, and they've definitely got the talent: Typhoon, hack, danny, gary, kaga, and even that Aku character are all quite capable when they're clicking. gary's probably been their most consistent Marine to date.

MG is in a similar boat and attendance can be very indicative of what kind of performance you're going to get out of this group. I stick to my beginning of the season analysis that if MG can get Adje, Hiro, mad?, and Octavian (non-ADD Octavian), they have a pretty strong core of Marines to run with. But not only is MG very attendance dependent, they're also very listening dependent. As a member of this squad, I know all too well how some members can zone out and start wandering off. As silly as it sounds to say in a video game, MG will need discipline if they want to run with SN.

MG does also have Home field advantage in this matchup. Sometimes that can make a world of a difference.

Ultimately, I think SN does have the better over all fighters and experience. If they show up, they should have the advantage.
