After a week of playing I am pretty disappointed. The game itself is just as fun as I remember but the server issue and lack of preparation on Blizzard's end has ruined most of the fun. A lot of people I planned on playing with have either quit or rerolled to other servers. I had a pretty large chunk of people who at one point would have been able to maintain a successful 40 man raid roster but that's how bad Blizzard fucked up. There was no point following anyone to reroll because everyone literally went to 10 different servers because every new server ended up getting a queue. It was reroll after reroll. So here I am now with a friends list of 100+ people and nobody is playing on the same server. And I'm stuck on Skeram with nobody I know and it's just killing my drive to keep playing. How's everyone else's experience so far?

its been great for all the reasons why you said you're disappointed. we've got 8 people that are all playing together so we're able to do instances or world PVP together along the way. it was pretty sloppy how they rolled out with everything and causing some people to be stranded on a server. sucks cause we could have 8+ more.

angelus just rolled a priest and couple others are rerolling with him. i wouldnt be worried about the server being dead any time soon since it regularly has 2.5k+ queues in the evening.. not sure there's a whole lot of other servers dealing with that BS

I wouldn't call it great that people are being split up because of the server issues. Being on Skeram right now alone kind of sucks. The only fear I have about doing the free transfer to Earthfury is that it ends up dead. Same thing happened in Vanilla when they rolled out new servers because of other servers being full. The new ones ended up being a ghost town.

Just join Herod w/ all the other people. I bet the queue will get better soon it has only been out a week.

There's no way I'm starting over at this point. Level 46 is an investment.

It has been one week. It would therefore not take very long in the scheme of things to level back up to be able to enjoy the game with your friends.

since they're rolling out content in phases and phase 1 is still a couple months away, i don't think there's a huge rush to hit 60. and you've definitely invested some time, i don't think you have to be "pot committed" at this point. is it worth investing the remaining time to hit 60 to play by yourself or would that time be better spent rolling on a server where you know you have other people to play with? could save you some money should server transfers ever be a thing, but unlike the free transfers theyre doing now from high to lower pop or that new realm, i cant see that happening without them fucking up server balance entirely

There is a group of players from Infantry who are rolling characters on Earthfury (the new server) and I could use my free transfer to go there with them. Even though they should just come to Skeram since the queues are gone >:(

I'm just waiting to see how the population turns out over the next few days. Being stuck on a dead server would suck.

So Herod queues were less than 90mins last night, which is a good indication of the next few days. Our group splintered to Bene, but highest lvl there is 25 vs our 30s-50s. Higher ups on Herod have offered to assist with powering through questing and dungeons to try and get a leg up for people rerolling back on Herod.

Also Jericho is like 52 now so he gets the high level card to play
