Gentlemen
Dear USL Community,
We want to address the recent match involving our squad, "FUP" (also known as "Fuck you Pistor"), and provide some context for our gameplay decisions. We understand that our approach may have led to an uninteresting game characterized by slow pacing, and we want to explain the circumstances that influenced our strategy.
During the match, we felt compelled to adopt a camping strategy due to concerns about the fairness and integrity of the competition. Specifically, we suspected that the opposing team, "Low Life Thugs," led by "Sov," may have been engaging in unsportsmanlike behavior, including potential cheating tactics.
Our suspicions were based on several factors, including the observed behavior of "Low Life Thugs" during previous matches and instances where it seemed they had an unfair advantage. Additionally, there were rumors circulating within the community regarding possible exploitation of spectator information and other means of gaining an unfair edge.
In light of these concerns, our decision to adopt a camping strategy was not taken lightly. We believed that it was necessary to mitigate the potential impact of any unfair advantages the opposing team may have been exploiting. By playing defensively and cautiously, we aimed to level the playing field and ensure a fair competition, despite the circumstances.
We recognize that our approach may not have made for the most exciting or engaging gameplay experience, and for that, we apologize to the USL community. However, we hope you understand that our actions were motivated by a commitment to upholding the competitive integrity of the league and ensuring that all teams have an equal opportunity to succeed.
Moving forward, we encourage the league organizers to take proactive measures to address concerns related to cheating, unfair advantages, etc. By promoting transparency, accountability, and fair play, we can uphold the values of integrity and sportsmanship that are central to the USL community.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
