MATCH OF THE WEEK, and a Playoff Semi-Final Preview

Breakdown

Both of these teams got to experience a true ass-beating from Over 9000 last week, and now both will be coming into Sunday's matches wanting and needing to get their first win on the season. Will all the changes over in the Dam for Hungry Beavers give Zero Tolerance an edge this week?

Possible, but Unlikely.

Zero Tolerance do have an edge this week. Their squad is still the same from Week 1 to Week 2. They've been practicing a lot this week, and they've looked improved from Week 1 in those practices. Clearly, the squad is starting to gel more on the field. Assuming Apollo is going to be able to make it on Sunday, I see him possibly pulling that second medic roll with Flash, and then it all falls on the backs of the ZT marines - Can they go toe to toe (or tail to tail, as it were) with the Best of the Beavers? Tough challenge - and it seems like a lot will be asked of Guerilla specifically for this game.

Predicted Lineup: Spartacus, Brillhart, Danny, Guerilla, King, K, Flash, Apollo
(Likely no subs this game)

What to say about Hungry Beavers. The past 24 hours have been a flurry of emotions and activity. On Friday Easoe left Over 9000 and was added to the HB roster. In the early hours of Saturday morning, The Gift left HB, and Tactical followed him a few hours later. There is no arugment that losing these two marines doesn't negatively impact the Hungry Beavers roster strength - the only question is by how much? And can HB pull it together quickly in the face of a more solidified Zero Tolerance team. But even a quick glance at the HB roster will tell you that the talent is there still for Hungry Beavers to run away with this game, so long as they can focus on the task in front of them, and put the drama to the side.

Predicted Lineup: Toranaga, The Mountain, Kaga, Fausto, Colossal, God, Aerith, Fairfax

Result:
Zero Tolerance will come out stronger than anticipated and keep the game close at first. But around the 15 minute mark Hungry Beavers will find themselves and start surging in the score line.

Final Score: 48-31 Hungry Beavers, MVP is The Mountain
