I can't tell if you're being serious but http stands for hypertext transfer protocol and is the protocol used to transmit the data from the server to your browser. HTML is the programming language that is used to format and display that data. It's a good thing I was able to read that in my internet for dummies book or else I wouldn't have been able to get a job in web development and database administration!
